You may choose to include further statements where relevant about:<br>Achievements against  Para 1.41 We were able to provide funding for<br>objectives set respite for 4 young people; three with<br>autism and one with down syndrome.<br>At first the SEN respite services were<br>only open during the school holidays,<br>and then they opened up on the<br>weekends. Each young person was<br>granted one day in the week, and one<br>day on the weekend.<br>Special SEN equipments were brought<br>and provided to one of the respite<br>services, as well as 7 young people for<br>them to keep at home. The equipment<br>included black out tents, SEN light toys<br>and trampolines.<br>A peer support group was set up for<br>the parents of the SEN young people.<br>This enabled them to share, offer<br>advice, and support to each other via a<br>WhatsApp group during a hard time for<br>them.<br>Not only did the SEN respite offer a<br>safe, open and great learning<br>environment for the young people.
