|||||||Our venue has excellent acoustics and sight-||
|||||||lines, particularly<br>suited to chamber music. We||
|||||||identify young award-winning<br>stars ofthe music||
|||||||world and attract them to perform<br>at this rural||
|||||||outpost by providing<br>a residency<br>with top||
|||||||quality facilities and support, as well as a||
|||||||chaHenging||
|||||||and unusual<br>pregramm.<br>Since its inception|in|
|||||||May 2012the festival has gained a reputation||
|||||||for excellence plus a loyal and slowly expanding||
|||||||audience.||
|||||||Outreach<br>activities include school workshops||
|||||||(50-100children), talks on the programme,||
|||||||demonstrations<br>by the artists toe.g. !ocal U3A||
|||||||groups, and some concerts are broadcast<br>live||
|||||||over the internet to a diverse international||
|||||||audience ofseveral thousand.||

||||||The festival programme<br>is decided by the|
|Contribution<br>volunteers||made|by||Artistic Director, Sophia Rahman,<br>who also<br>chooses the artists, and receives afee for her<br>services.|

||||audience to enjoy, live music again affer 15|
||||months ofdeprivation.|
