## **Summary of Activity** 

The charity was set up 30 years ago, to improve the standard of health care of the inhabitants of the area served by Tameside by supporting a range of activities for health care staff. These objectives were modified in 2025 to focus on the health and wellbeing of primary care staff working in Tameside. Our mission statement still stands: 

“To improve the standard of health care of the inhabitants of Tameside by providing a continuing programme of health services education and providing welfare support for primary care staff”. 

The Trustees role is primarily to ensure a fair distribution of these funds 

There are now 3 Trustees and the previous Chair, Dr Stuart Murray has resigned.  Dr Nita Taylor, a GP in Tameside, is the new Chair. 

In the last year we have engaged in several activities 

- Three Wellbeing and relaxation events 

- A step challenge event to increase activity and welbeig amongst staff 

- Paid for a phlebotomy training course 

- Organised a celebration awards event 

- Raised funds through donation during the step challenge 

- We met 4 times during this reporting period and ensured minutes were taken and decisions shared, 

- Bank details were updated to reflect the new trustees and the bank account address altered to that of Dr Nita Taylor.
