Summary of Actvity
This is a set up over 30 years ago to improve the standard of health care of the inhabitants of the area served by Tameside. The activities were modified this year to include welfare support for primary care staff, The mission statement is :-
“To improve the standard of health care of the inhabitants of Tameside by providing a continuing programme of health services education and providing welfare support for primary care staff”.
A sizable asset has built up in previous years.
The Trustees role is primarily to ensure a fair distribution of these funds
There are now 4 Trustees with the addition of two Trustees in the current year. We have completed paying for a 2 year educational programme provided by Red Whale which included 2 all day events for 150 general practice clinical practitioners from Tameside and Glossop at each event.
We are supporting the Tameside Primary Care Step up for Wellbeing Challenge and hope to raise further funds through Crowdfunder.
