## **Summary of Activity** 

This is a small charity set up over 29 years ago to improve the standard of health care of the inhabitants of the area served by Tameside and Glossop Health Authority and its successor authorities by providing: 

(i) a continuing programme of Health Services education for doctors,dentists and other health and social care staff by means of lectures,seminars,workshops,skills labs and other events 

(ii) building up and maintaining a suitable medical library and Health Information Service resources. 

A sizable asset of currently £54551 has built up in previous years. 

The Trustees role is primarily to ensure a fair distribution of these funds 

There are currently 3 Trustees and we have not been able to distribute funds due to the constraints of the COVID pandemic and lack of available training courses. We have not been able to increase the size of the fund. 

We hope that now the pandemic is over we will be able to restart distributing the funds.
