ANNUAL REPORT 2023
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT TO THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, 16 April 2024
We are grateful for all the support and activity with Bewdley Street Pastors over the last year, which has seen an increase in patrol numbers since Elizabeth Lee took over the coordinator role and the effects of the pandemic have receded.
Our Pastors went out on patrol on 14 nights; one planned patrol was cancelled due to bad weather, and two planned patrols could not be staffed. We are very grateful to our faithful Pastors.
There have been some meaningful encounters as well as some reflection this year on what are the right places, times and ways to patrol, which have led to the exploration of the possibility of a wider Wyre Forest Street Pastors group. We will seek to pursue this with Kidderminster Street Pastors and interested parties in Stourport-on-Severn.
I am grateful also to the management committee for their effort this year.
