## **Annual Report 2021** 

Presented to the Annual General Meeting on 5 May 2022 

The last year has been a year of transition for Bewdley Street Pastors as patrols have restarted again after the lockdowns of the previous year. 

The night time economy in our town has been picking up again and the Street Pastor patrols have gone well, although the evenings have been generally quiet.  We still have a core of Street Pastors who faithfully go on patrol and we are grateful for them. 

During the year we have been looking at taking oversight of Rail Pastors as Stourbridge Street Pastors is no longer willing to have oversight of the group.  This process continues, frustratingly, due to difficulties getting details and documents from the Ascension Trust.  The hope now is that in the coming months a formal decision can be made whether to proceed or not. 

The management committee continues to work to ensure that policies are in place and that Street Pastors are supported in their ministries. 

Finances remain in a good place, despite the increased money going to the Ascension Trust. 

An issue going forward will be to ensure sufficient prayer support as we have been unable to replace Lynne Fox as Prayer Coordinator.
