## **Trustee Report** ## **01 September 2022 – 31 August 2023** ## **1168924** Thank you for your support. As our donors know this is a very grassroot charity and we continue to fundraise whilst all trustees are employed in their respective employments. October 2022, Razia visited Lebanon to Beirut, Saida and refugee camps in Beirut. 140 large food sacks , 200 small food sacks clothing were delivered to informal settlements. The economic situation was very challenging for our recipients and financial assistance was given where needed. Our team was present in the aftermath of the Turkey earthquake. The region visited was Hatay and Gaziantep. Financial aid to families. Medical bills were paid. Blackburn and Darwen, UK. Our clothing, footwear, toys and baby items assistance to refugees and families who are struggling is concurrent and has been utilised by other charities and organisations within the North West. ## **Future September 2023 onwards** The trustees have been undertaking Leadership study days to enable us as a team to upskill and deliver leadership programs within the UK. The long term aim to acquire a building which will enable the clothing at our home address to be stored elsewhere. Currently this has been held off due to finances and lack of building a significant network to deliver a viable output of need.
