LLA is a charity providing support of education and learning in the Parish of Lympstone
Objects: Educationa. Advance The Education Of The Pupils At All Lympstone Schools By Providing And Assisting In The Provision Of Facilities For Education That Fall Outside Of The Statutory Obligations Of The County Council.b. Promote The Education (Including Social And Physical Training) Of All People In Lympstone In Such Ways As The Charity Trustees Think Fit, Including But Not Exclusively:i. Awarding To Such Persons Scholarships, Maintenance Allowances Or Grants Tenable At Any University, College Or Institution Of Higher Or Further Education.ii. Providing Their Education (Including The Study Of Music Or Other Arts), To Undertake Travel In Furtherance Of That Education Or To Prepare For Entry To Any Occupation, Trade Or Profession On Leaving Any Educational Establishmentiii. The Promotion Of Crafts And Craftsmanship Including Apprenticeships By Exhibiting Crafts Produced By Craftsman And Educating People In The Skills Required To Produce This Art.iv. Assist In Such Ways As The Charity Trustees Think Fit Any Charity Or Similar Organisation In Lympstone Whose Aims Include Advancing Education By Developing Their Mental, Physical And Moral Capabilities Through Leisure Or Full Time Activitiesv. Promote Learning For Pleasure By People No Longer In Full Time Employment Through The Continued Development Of Their Individual Capabilities, Competencies, Skills And Understanding In Subjects Of Educational Value.
