The centre is host to a wide variety of local regular groups and short courses. Activities are summarised below.. The Coffee and Craft Club meets weekly providing an important socialisin8 s¢ssion and craflin8 activities. This proven to be a really popular part of our limetablc. In addiiion activities for health and wellbein8 have been held duiin8 these SsIOnS and they have been particularly well supported. The facilities continue to be used for other regular weekly activities including Filness Claws and rehearsal sessions for Wellin8ton (Shropshire) Brt8s Band. Leam Telford, part of Telford & Wrekin Council provides high quality learning opportunitlcs lo local 0P1¢ and regularly holds one day or short courses In our facilitlcs BS part of their Inin8 and education provision. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievemenls of the charity during the year During the past year the Centre has hosted some fantsstic and successful events, something for everyone, for all ages and free of charge. These indude a Christmas Senior Citizen Social event, a Family Fun Day in July. the Arleston Memories Group event in Septembef, a Marie Curie Bingo fundraiser in March. a Repair Café event and a VE80 celebration in May. All events were a huge SucsS and all resldenls really appredated everyone's hard work. Another huge achievem8nt has been in getting Arleston Youth Club up and njnning. This started In November and is a collaboratlon belwe8n Telford and Wrekln Councll and the 4allFoundation. Thls goes from strength to strength and is a valued addition to the area. Another achievement and something to celebrate is that the (%ntre Is run by a team of volunteers and continues to be a v18ble and popular ommunlty asset. TAR March 2012
