## Activities

**Objects:** 1. TO RESTORE, RECONSTRUCT, PRESERVATION AND MAINTAIN THE SWANSEA CANAL AND TO CONSERVE ITS NATURAL CHARACTER AS A NAVIGABLE INLAND WATERWAY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.2. TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE HISTORY AND USE OF THE CANAL.3. TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH A VIEW OF IMPROVING CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

**Activities:** The charity runs regular work parties to maintain and restore the canal in conjunction with Canal and River Trust, and a small canoe hire operation for local groups and families.We also liaise with local government and other relevant bodies.
