ANNUAL TRUSTEE REPORT OF THE FRIENDS OF FECKENHAM PARISH CHURCH 2024 /2025

The Charity was formed in August 2016.This report covers the period from December 2023 to July 2025.The accounts are attached. The Trustees met on 7 occasions since December 2023. 

The Charity’s principal concern is the maintenance of the building and fabric of the Church and its surrounds as the symbolic centre of the Village. 

The current Trustees are;

ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN TO IN ORDER TO EXECUTE ITS PURPOSE 

1 church roof repairs 

As identified in the Quinquennial report received in May 2024 the cost of replacing the roof exceeds £570,000.00. Following competitive tendering processes Fund raisers Irving Patrick have been appointed together with an Architect, John Middleton, to oversee the project. Meetings have and will be taking place over the next few months to consider how the matter will progress. 

2  £1700.00 has been paid for the installation of new netting on certain windows to prevent bird ingress.
