HAVANT MENS SHED AGM 2022 - CHAIRMANS ANNUAL REPORT
The Havant Mens shed was conceived in 2014 The first AGM was 2015 making this AGM our 7TH In 2017 the Havant Mens Shed became a charitable organization
With the great efforts of the membership, we still seek to widen our opportunities within the community wherever and whenever possible
We must thank once again Havant Borough Council and Hampshire County Council through their local Councilors for their continued steadfast support
Staying on a positive track the following is a list of some of the great achievements realized, by the shed over Past 12 months

A new sandblaster purchased and operational

New lathe purchased, up and running producing good work already

The Trustees have provided free tea coffee and biscuits over the past year for all members and visitors

Members have exceeded their reputation once again in the great work carried out for Bidbury and St Thomas Moore schools (which, have by the way featured in the local press)

Further to this we have produced a bench for the local Keats Society which is in place at Bidbury park in Bedhampton Tony dale has just completed a Falkland Remembrance, bench which has been a joy seeing it come together.

Last of all I would like to mention improvements made to the dust extraction system that was completed by Mike Skelton and Tony Dale, and, I am sure others who helped along the way.

If I have not mentioned you, please be aware that we as a shed are very proud of work carried out and the great efforts members go to, to help not only the shed but also individuals and local charities as required. So with that in mind please accept a big thank you to all members from the Management Committee.
