2020 Chairman’s Report
Good morning and a big welcome to all of you who have managed to zoom into our AGM.
We have completed shall we say a very interesting year.
I will try to highlight the positive achievements that have happened over the year.
Since the imposed lockdown in March we have given the electrics a complete overhaul after being substandard.
The Shed working area has been completely redesigned with new machinery and extraction equipment being installed.
The relaxation area has also been redesigned to give us a greater clear area which has helped us to comply with Covid requirements.
Our thanks go to HBC and Hampshire CC for their grant that has helped us to complete these improvements.
I must thank the Board of Trustee’s for their due diligence over this prolonged time and ensuring that the Shed will continue to be of use in the community.
The Board has had to continue meeting throughout the year, maintaining for months a weekly meeting to ensure continuity whilst implementing the material changes.
Thanks to our Health and Safety subcommittee for completing our risk assessment and Covid regulations. We currently comply with all the regulations.
I see us now on the road to full operating recovery in the future.
Due to Covid government regulations we are now closed until further notice which commenced Thursday 5[th] November.
