**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:1) TO ADVANCE THE ARTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BY ACTING AS AN UMBRELLA BODY FOR ARTS ORGANISATIONS IN REDDITCH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA IN ORDER TO FACILITATE GREATER PUBLIC ACCESS TO, AND INCREASED PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN, THE ARTS. 2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ARTS IN PARTICULAR BY THE AWARD OF GRANTS. 3) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF REDDITCH AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR FOR THE PUBLIC AT LARGE IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.

**Activities:** We work to promote interest in the arts, and encourage participation in creative activities of all sorts. We act as an umbrella body for established local arts groups, run our own events, and provide small grants to support new arts initiatives in the Redditch area.
