Wild Hogs Hedgehog Rescue research, rescue, rehabilitate and release native European hedgehogs in order to support and preserve the species for the public benefit. We give talks on our work with hedgehogs to the public including schools, care homes, community groups and similar organisations. We are part of the Gloucestershire Hedgehog Network, a local rehabilitation group. We admitted 394 hedgehogs in 2022 and have maintained our high standards of animal welfare and rehabilitation practices. The charity has continued to grow in both admissions and volunteers. We now have a team of talks volunteers who give talks to schools and community groups raising awareness of hedgehog conservation. We have also offered work experience and student placements alongside our regular volunteers. Wild Hogs Hedgehog Rescue continues to provide free rescue, rehabilitation services across Gloucestershire for sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs and to raise awareness of hedgehog conservation. **TAR** March **2012** 5 ## **Section E Financial review** **Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves** Sufficient reserves will be held to enable running costs to be met for a period of at least one month.
