The Trustees present their eighth annual report, together with the financial statements for
the year ended 31st January 2025. The reference and administrative information set out
below forms part of this report. The financial statements have been prepared by LHK
Chartered Accountants, acting as independent examiners.
Strurture, governance & management
Birmingham Outreach Foundation (BOF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving local
people in need. The charity was registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organlsatlon {CIO) on
15th August 2016,
All Trustees voluntarily give their time and expertlse to the or8anlsatlon and do not recelve
any form of payment, wages, or relmbursement from BOF. Any expenses incurred are met
personally by the Trustees and not from the charity's funds.
The Trustees meet annually to review the charity's aims, objectives, and activities. This report
outlines the charity's achievements and the impact of its work during its eighth year, which
concluded on 315t January 2025. It also provides a summary of the charity's projects,
highlighting the support delivered and the difference made to beneficiaries. The charity
continues to rely heavily on volunteers, and the Trustee5' review process ensures that its work
remains closely aligned with its charitable purposes.
Objectives and activlties
Birmingham Outreach Foundation {BOF) exists to provide support and relief to those in
greatest need within Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Its charitable objectives are:
l. The preventlon or rellef from poverty in 8irmin8ham and the surrounding area,
through the provision of food and basic essential items to individuals in need.
2. The promotlon of social incluslon amongst vulnerable members of the community
who are excluded from society because they are unemployed, homeless or who are
struggling financially, by the provision of advice In relation to housing, employment
and welfare, as well as other areas which the trustees deem fit.
3. To further such excluslvely charltable purposes for the public benefit according to the
law of England and Wales as the charity trustees shall in their absolute discretion
determine.
For the purpose of clause 2 'socially excluded, means being excluded from society, or part of
society, as a result of being a member of a socially and economically deprived community.
Our vision is to make a positive difference in society for those in need. We aim to foster
collaboration and build partnerships with other charities, harnessing the ski115 and resources
of our Trustees to create a stronger, more inclusive community. We remain committed to
delivering projects that provide practical help, hope, and opportunities for vulnerable people.

Charitable Activities (1st February 2024 to 31st January 2025)
Project 6- Ramadan (Homeless & Needy)
The Trustees agreed to deliver Project 6- Ramadan (Homeless & Needy) for ten night5 during
the holy month of Ramadan, with the aim of providing food to homeless and vulnerable
individuals in Birmingham. The project was based at The Old Square, Birmingham City Centre,
and ran from Ilth March 2024 to 19th April 2024.

Through the generosity of donors and sUPPOrters of Birmingham Outreach
Foundation they managed to raise £2,401.50 through Crowd Funding Platform and
Online Via BOF Natwest Bank Account Cash Donation of £875.00 made by Dr Zarina
Syed, Dr Awais Abdullah, Dr Naila & Dr Paul Thorn, Dr Usman Ahmed making the
grand total raised £3,276,50 raised durin8 the month of Ramadan.
The funding for Project 6 enabled BOF to provide hot meals and essential food items
to over 560 homeless and needy Indlviduals in Birmin8ham. Total expenditure
totalled £1,849.06, and the project benefitted from the dedication of volunteers and
the goodwill of local businesses. Notably, Momo's Restaurant and local Fiveways
Edgbaston Morrisons Supermarkets who provided discounted rates, helping BOF to
maximise the reach and impact of its work.
The Trustees wish to place on record their sincere gratitude to all donors, volunteers,
and community partners who contributed to the success of this Project 6.

Birmingham throughout the year. Projert 7 operates every Wednesday evenlng at 7:00 pm

During the reporting year, Project 7 successfully supported more than 4,000
homele55 and vulnerable individuals in Birmingham by providing hot meals, food
packs, and essential supplies.
The project's impact was made possible through the generosity of donors, the
dedication of volunteers, and strong partnerships with local businesses. BOF wishes
to extend its sincere 8ratitude to Momo's Restaurant, Morrlsons Supermarkets,
Chaudhry's Cash & Carry, and all supporters who provided discounts and assistance
throughout the year.
The Trustees acknowledge with appreciation the tireless efforts of the volunteers
who ensured the smooth runnin8 of weekly distributions. Their commitment
continues to embody the Foundation's vision of creating a more inclusive and caring
society.

In Summary
Between 1st February 2024 and 31st January 2025, Birmingham Outreach Foundation
delivered two major projects with a combined expenditure of £16,779.89. During this period,
the charity raised £21,467.23 through the generous support of individual donors, community
contributions, and one grant, alongside a surplus of £7,660.91 carried forward from the
previous financial year.
Thanks to this funding and the dedication of our volunteers, BOF provided more than 4.560
hot meals to homeless and vulnerable indlvlduals across Birmingham. Beyond addressing
the urgent need for food, the projects also fostered a sense of dignity, care, and belonging
within the community.
In line with our commitment to health and 5afetyi the Trustees ensured that strict protocols
were observed throughout all activities. Volunteers were required to wear disposable gloves
while serving food or assisting beneficiaries, thereby safeguarding hygiene standards and
protecting both recipients and volunteers. Anyone unwilling to follow these procedures was
not permitted to participate, reflectin8 the Foundation's firm prioritisation of responsibility
and wellbeing.
The Trustees are proud that the Foundation's projects have delivered practlcal, immedlate,
and compasslonate support during the year under review. Through collaboration,
community engagement, and unwavering commitment, BOF continues to make a meaningful
difference in the lives of those most in need.

Future Plans and Change5
Lookingahead, Birmingham Outreach Foundation will continue to seek additionalfundingand
grants to sustain and expand its charitable work. In particular, the Trustees plan to approach
Birmingham City Council, Jaguar Land Rover, The Co-op Supermarket, and to make further
use of crowdfunding platforms, citing the pressing need to provide meals more frequently to
homeless and vulnerable people in Birmingham.
The Foundation a150 intends to develop new partnerships with other organisations and
charities. By building strong collaborations, BOF will be better positioned to meet rising
demands and deliver new projects in line with its vision of supporting those most in need.

Birmingham Outreach Foundation will carry forward surplus funds of £7,660.91 into the next
financial year. It is important to note that 0% of expenditure during the year was allocated to
administrative costs, All administrative expenses were met personally by the Trustees,
ensuring that every penny of donated funds was directed solely towards charitable activities.
Statement of Responsibility of the Trustees
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Report of the Trustees, and the financial
statements In accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accountlng Standards
(United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
UK Charity Commission by law requlresthe Trustees to prepare financial statements for each
financial year which give a true and fair vlew of the state of affairs of the charity and of the
donations and Including the expenditure for that period. In preparlng these financial
statements, the Trustees engaged independent external accountants LHK Chartered
Accountants, to produce the accounts on their behalf.
The Trustees are responsible for maintainin8 proper accounting records that disclose with
reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity. They are also responsible
for safeguarding the charity and hence take reasonable steps for the prevention and
detection of fraud and other irregularities.
As far as the Trustees are aware.
There is no relevant information of which the charity's independent external
accountant5 are unaware; and
The Trustees have taken all steps that they ought to make themselves aware of any
relevant informatlon and to establish thatthe independent external accountants are
aware of that information.
The Trustees are responsible for the maintenance and integrity of the CharitVs financial
information and Legislation in the United Kingdom governing the preparation and
dissemination of financial statements may differ from legislation in other jurisdictions.
These accounts have been prepared In accordance with the provislons applicable to a small
charity regime.

I report on the accounts of the centre for the year ended 31 January 2025,

As the trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts, you consider that
the audit requirement of section 4." of the Charities Act 1993 {the Act) does not apply. It is
my responsibility to state, on the basis of procedures specified in the General Directions
given by the Charity Commissioners under section 4317)(bl of the Act, whether particular
matters have come to my attention.
Basls of examiner5 statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the
Charity Comm155ioners.
An examination includes the review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of
any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as
trustees concerning any such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provlde all the evidence that would be required in an
audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the
requirements
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the Act, and
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply with

To which, in my opinion, attention should have been drawn in orderto enable a proper
