||||The Saturday<br>group of 8-14 year olds that|
||||started<br>in 2022 with post-COVID Reconnect|

||||organised<br>a major event<br>in Ashford Town|
||||Centre to celebrate 180years of railways<br>in|
||||Ashford. Working<br>with Ashford<br>Museum,|
||||Ashford<br>Library, Ashford<br>Model Railway<br>Club|
||||and others we created photographic<br>and|
||||artefact displays<br>telling the story of Ashford*s|
||||railway<br>heritage alongside<br>an exhibition<br>of|
||||model railways,<br>the first in Ashford for 22|
||||years. The weekend<br>exhibition<br>attracted 750|
||||visitors across seven venues and gained|
||||very positive feedback from Ashford|
||||Borough Council, a key stakeholder<br>in any|
||||future plans to secure a permanent<br>home.|

||||1950s, built to a very high quality and a goof|
