## **Charity Purpose**
In accordance with Christian principles, the Object of the CIO is, for the public benefit, the relief of those in need by reason of financial hardship, unemployment, sickness, education and such other economic or social disadvantage, in such parts of the world as the Charity Trustees may from time to time decide.
## **Main Activities**
The activities for the year were focused on the following areas this year;
- Our work in Nigeria and Uganda was continued.
## **Achievements**
The major achievement for the year
- Visit to Nigeria to support the poor.
- Work in Uganda continued.
## **Financial Review**
The principal source of income has been from donations in the UK. The total income for the year was £50 and expenditure was £0. There have been ongoing financial issues regarding Barclays Bank, who closed our account and have failed to transfer the funds to the new Bank. The Trustees consider that the financial position is unacceptable and are still fighting to resolve as soon as possible.
## **Future**
The Charity hopes to continue to build on the current activities but has been hampered by issues with the bank it used. This has still not been resolved although a new bank account is now open and functioning.
Due to illness, the management of the charity will be transferred to a new team.
