|Summary of the purposes of the
charity as set out in its
governing document|Para 1.17|1) The advancement of education in the
severely deprived UK regions without
distinction of age, sex, religion, political, or
other opinion. By such charitable educational
activities as the trustees think fit.
2) The prevention or relief of poverty by
providing or assisting in the provision of
education, training and all the necessary
support designed to enable individuals to
generate a sustainable income and be
self-sufficient who have not been able to gain
this from mainstream education or have
chosen a path of crime.
3) The preservation and protection of young
people (ages 4-19) who have not been able to
find a future in mainstream education or have
chosen a path of crime.|
|Summary of the main activities
in relation to those purposes for
the public benefit, in particular,
the activities, projects or
services identified in the
accounts.|Para 1.17 and 1.19|Innovation To Inspire Trust works closely in
collaboration with a recognised motor
vehicle training provider to help enhance and
reach its objects as stated in its governance,
this helps more young people aged 13 – 25
who come from deprived backgrounds or
have learning difficulties that limit them from
achieving a sustainable future, who are at
risk of becoming homeless or turning to a life
of crime and social isolation. These young
people are in the category that is described
most at risk and those who are not in|

employment, training or education. Often their background is set by; the breakdown in family relationships, low esteem and inability to cope with social exclusion and often with little confidence. Based on the charity's objective there was a decision to acquire adequate premises and funding to open an Innovative Education Centre. Our three workshops have proven to be a wonderful practical space and now has the capacity to increase the number of vulnerable learners it can support and has been the backbone to support the expansion of the “Skills To Employment” Post 16 programme. Our focus for this year was to deliver on our promises with the progression of the Post 16 motor vehicle programme, incorporating add on qualifications such as Functional Skills, Personal Social Development (PSD) and Employsbility Skills that aid the transition into Employment.

We are working very closely with all parties and have consultations with the local Leicestershire County Council and also a Special Educational needs College to continue giving opportunities to learners with an EHCP. The implementation of the Post 16 motor vehicle mechanics course for learners with an (Educational Health Care Plan) incorporates a highly recognised qualification with the IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry). We are working well with the Colleges and with the Special Educational College, registering all the learners successfully and growing the Post 16 motor vehicle programme.

Our groups are split into four cohort groups, the ratio has worked very well and gives learners the bespoke programme they need to be able to achieve their goals and future ambitions. We created a completely bespoke timetable to be able to run the Post 16 motor vehicle provision for learners with an EHCP.

|||We will continue to recruit learners from our
Alternative programme for learners which
have an EHCP. Our Post 16 motor vehicle
provision will also continue to work with the
Special Schools around Leicestershire.
Meetings are held quarterly along with
consultation being completed weekly with
staff and open days for tours and discussions
with Learner’s parents, Schools and the
Local Authority.
To help continue to provide an outstanding
post 16 programme it was clear we needed to
keep investing in the purchasing of new
equipment and remove the old broken tools
to help facilitate learning and the growing
number of learners.
The main costs were sundries and paying
utilities within the workshops due to the
amount of learners using the equipment each
week. The equipment bought is lasting very
well and these costs are absorbed by the
provision rather than the charity.
We are pleased to say that we have delivered
on our promises and achieved learner success
with qualifications being taken and achieved
on our Post 16 Motor Vehicle programme.
This is a monumental achievement when
considering all the adversities that were
encountered over the last year. This
achievement would not have been possible
without the dedication and the support of
many people who have truly shownthe most
extraordinary acts of human kindness,
forethought and compassion to help learners
achieve their full aspirations.|
