Choir Report 2021. It has been a pleasure to serve St. Peter"s Church as organist and choir master for another year. It has been a relatively normal year after the interruptions and uncertainties during the pandemic. The choir continues to have soloists sing during communion but other than that it is business as usual. We meet every Friday evening at 7pm for choir practice. At the moment we are looking forward to Lent and Easter and learning the Brewer setting of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis for Choral Evensong on Easter Sunday. New members who can sing are always welcome. Looking forward to continuing working with the choir during the coming year. David Hall

Throughout this tlme we have been able, thanks to God, we have been able to keep those attending in a safe environment. Thankfully we are now in a position where masks and soclal distanclng wlll be soon a thing of the past, but we still need to keep on our guard and be mlndful ofthe vulnerable on how we are towards them. They May still feel the need to wear a mask and keep socially distant, so we continue to respert all. At the moment we are slowly buildin8 UP those returnlng to thls service, and we have had some new faces amongst us, which we welcome as always. LLM vision Cham 2021 I'm sure l am preaching to the converted, but planning and preparation has always been the key, we saw this with Christ. From time in memorial. planning and preparation behind the scenes has forged us ahead to go forward in Christ. and more so, and this is what I see within our church, and l find a pleasure to be a part of it. Therefore. when I speak of being Vision Champion. it leads me lus into Wision 2026, which we have seen years, already, of planning and preparation of how we bring forth the focuslvision at)out 'Healthy Churches Transforming Communities.: Making disciples of Jesus Christ Being witnesses to Jesus Christ Growing leaders for Jesus Christ Inspirtng Children and Young People to raise up a new generation for Christ Behind the scenes we see workers doing their part in arKI outside of St Peters and St David's Parish Church alongside the Rossall School chaplaincy, and we pray in day after day and week after week for all these projects. ministries, and service8 to gr(w more and more. We all play our part! I for one as Vision Champion have taken on board the need to have a hand in those that God has broughl into planning and preparation within their own lives and live8 in Chri8t. Last year I was able lo take on board being a mentor for Authorised Lay P41inisters in training and mentored 2 mentees as they went through their entire training. At this moment in time, l am in the midst of mentoring another person. which is a God given privilege, as is all we do for God. ion Re

All that we do in service as servants of God are backed up by the Word of Scripture. Those Words are the foundation to which make disciple8 of Jesus, be witiRsses to Jesus Chrisc grow leaders for Jesus Chrisl, arKI yourvj people as a new generation for Christ. which I have found links in vAth mentoring. We as a people pray constantly for Vision 2026.. For one. for us to know our Scripture that is our foundation. to be rooted fimily; in relation to Growing Leaders- Philippians 4.131 can do all things through htm who strengthens me, and for a visitalion of the Holy Spint on Lancashire to Iyht beacons in every community. We have found ourselves as Church praying into planning and preparation for Mission 2022 for several years. where all those already mentioned will be touched on. All point towards what we as Christians do best, pray, be vision orientated and be behind the scenes bringing the light of Christ ever more into communities far and wide within this Diocese, Ihe Free slate and Braunschwe¢g. The P's have il; Prompting of the Holy Spirit. Prayer. Planning, Preparation. Practice, Planting within the Presence of God running through it, and bringing in the harrfest of people for God with Perseverance, As a Vision Champion ever focused on Gods visions and bringing them into the light of day, I continue to be open along with my brothers and sisters to playing a part in bringing others to Christ. not in a bamboozle of a way, but with love. care, understanding, an open heart and perseverance. I do this from one day to Ihe next, by inputttng on people's lives, be it the stranger, the congregation. family. fn"end, or foe.
