The charity is looking to provide services to the local community by acquiring what was known as Wath Town Hall from Rotherham MBC. The services planned are varied and as yet not fully formalised as the charity is yet to acquire the premises but will include a heritage centre to showcase the buildings history.

Objects: The Furtherance Of Such Charitable Purposes For The Public Benefit In Wath Upon Dearne And The Dearne Valley, South Yorkshire (The “Area Of Benefit”) As The Directors See Fit From Time To Time In Particular But Not Exclusively By:- The Advancement Of Education(a) Through The Provision And Maintenance Of A Museum And Heritage Centre At Wath Hall;(b) By The Provision Of An Educational Resource Centre For Local Schools In The Area Of Benefit; And(c) By The Creation Of Training And Employment Opportunities For Those In Need Of Them And By The Provision Of Workspace On Favourable Terms Both With The Aim Of Relieving Unemployment For The Public Benefit In The Area Of Benefit; - The Relief Of Poverty And The Relief Of Those In Need, Hardship Or Distress In The Area Of Benefit By The Provision Of Such Charitable Support, Assistance And Advice As The Directors See Fit From Time To Time; - The Advancement Of Health For The Public Benefit By The Provision Of Public Health And Childcare Facilities And By The Promotion Of Good Health And Wellbeing; And - The Provision And Maintenance Of A Community Facility Or Hub For Use By The Inhabitants In The Area Of Benefit Without Distinction Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, Including Use For:(a) Meetings, Lectures And Classes, And(b) Other Forms Of Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation, Provided In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Aim Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Inhabitants.
