The Park con7nues to look beau7ful with the woodland areas maturing nicely. The playing field and playground areas are looking neat, well kept and 7dy. In fact a recent liFer picking exercise couldn’t find any liFer to pick up!

We held a village fete in the summer , it was well aFended despite the weather. Fun and games for all and delicious on site catering.

The Parklings youth club has been very ac7ve this year. The Posi7ve ac7vi7es grant was applied for and successful. Parklings have had some lovely days out to local water parks. Great camp out in the summer. The local children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in and around the park. Great fun at Christmas and Halloween par7es.

We con7nue to have some successful maintenance days to keep hedges etc looking smart. The slide mound has been regularly mowed and topped up with top soil then grassed and is looking in a lot beFer shape. The slide also had a repair on site under warranty . A mew mower and hedge trimmer have been purchased. Plaques have been repaired and in some cases 7ed to trees. The play equipment is in good order and regularly inspected by trustees. The annual ROSPA inspec7on has been completed with only a few minor recommenda7ons.

The land transfer to the Charity ownership is currently with solicitors, the maFer being complicated by a legal agreement when purchasing the land.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the trustees and volunteers, past and present, for their con7nuing dedica7on and support, without which the park couldn’t operate.
