**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:2.1 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL SUBJECTS RELATING TO DIABETES (AND, IN PARTICULAR, TYPE 1 DIABETES); AND2.2 TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF INDIVIDUALS LIVING WITH DIABETES (AND, IN PARTICULAR, TYPE 1 DIABETES), IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:2.2.1 PROVIDING EDUCATION IN ALL SUBJECTS RELATING TO DIABETES; AND2.2.2 PROVIDING SUPPORT AND/OR CARE TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DIABETES AND THOSE WHO CARE FOR THEM.

**Activities:** The charity pursues objectives in education & promotion of health in individuals with type 1 diabetes by hosting an annual conference for those affected by the condition: 'Friends for Life'. Provides talks from clinicians, researchers & inspirational speakers and opportunities for peer support. Several businesses sponsor the event and provide exhibits. The UK conferences started in 2017.
