General Charitable Purpose - To advance such charitable purposes (according to the law of England and Wales, and the tenets and doctrine of the Islamic faith belonging to the Ahl al-Sunnah wa alJamah) as the trustees see fit from time to time. 

_Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects_ SUQYA Foundation currently makes grants/donations to other charitable organisations by way of one off and recurring donations. 

SUQYA Foundation’s grants/donations enable the establishing, running and maintaining of educational establishments, refugee camps, orphanages, shelters, counselling services, medical centres, soup kitchens and places of worship & contemplation for the benefit of the public, as well as climate positive activities, such as planting trees and funding carbon offsetting initiatives. 

SUQYA Foundation’s aim is to help any members of the public that are unable to care, or provide for themselves or their dependants with food, shelter, medical care or emotional support. Be this directly or indirectly, through grants/donations to other organisations who are already involved in providing such services to the public. 

## _Achievements and performance_ 

Through the grace of Allah our provision of emergency relief funds was sent to the victims of Afghanistan, Bosnia, Mauritania, Palestine, Pakistan and Yemen. 

We built five water dams in Mali, purchased land and built a home in Syria, and another in Ethiopia, and provided Uyghur refugees support in Turkey. 

Continuation of financial support for: orphan sponsorship in Lebanon women’s refuge centre in the UK 

post diploma training programme for graduates of Higher Islamic Education training Imams and alike on how to deal with current wide-ranging social issues.
