|||||2020through to2021 has been a difficult year for all our families and a|

|||||new way ofcommunicating<br>was needed.<br>This took more time than|
|||||anticipated<br>but after September<br>Derbyshire<br>Parent Carer Voice got the|
|||||hang ofworking differently<br>with parent carers.|
|||||We had an amazing<br>result from surveys as tobegin with this was a way|
|||||to find out how to support schools and families returning<br>to education|
|||||after the first lockdown.<br>Itgave more opportunity<br>to share the voices of|
|||||families with the decision makers at the local authority<br>and gave a voice|
|||||to the health services for parent carers too. Through surveys alone we|
|||||evidenced 1093views ofparent carers views across the year, through|
|||||this medium<br>alone.|
