Support Military Service leavers gaining employment

Objects: The Relief Of Unemployment And/or Financial Hardship And/or The Promotion Of Education And Training For The Public Benefit Of (I) Former Members Of All Branches Of The Armed Forces And (Ii) Current Members Who Are Proposing To Leave Or Who Are About To Leave Any Branch Of The Armed Forces Who, In Each Case, Are Living Or Based In Or Are Proposing To Live Or Be Based In Any Of The Counties Of Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Bedfordshire Or Hertfordshire Or In Any Of The Surrounding Areas Of Any Of Those Counties, In Such Ways As May Be Thought Fit Including, But Not Exclusively, By:a) The Promotion Of Vocational And Skills Training And The Provision Of Advice And Support To Help Such Persons Prepare For Prospective Employment And Self-Employment Opportunities Outside The Armed Forces And/or To Improve Their Employability;b) The Provision Of Advice, Guidance And Support To Such Persons Concerning Employment And/or Self-Employment Opportunities Outside The Armed Forces;c) The Provision Of Advice And Assistance To Such Persons In Connection With The Finding Of Employment And/or Achieving Self-Employment Outside The Armed Forces;d) The Promotion Of Such Persons As Skilled Candidates Who Are Available For Work;e) The Provision Of Technical Assistance And/or The Provision And/or Facilitation Of Business Advice Or Consultancy In Order To Promote Employment And/or Self-Employment Opportunities For Such Persons;f) The Provision Of Facilities For Meaningful Vocational And/or Employment-Related And/or Self-Employment-Related Transitional Advice And/or Support To Assist Such Persons In Obtaining And Retaining Employment Outside The Armed Forces And/or To Assist In Their Achieving Self-Employment And/or The Promotion Of Employment-Related And Self-Employment-Related Training Through Such Facilities;g) The Promotion And Raising Awareness Of The Skills And Capabilities Of Such Persons To Potential Employers Who Are Located In And/or Trading From Any Such Areas With Particular Emphasis On Raising Such Awareness Within And Such Promotion To Small And Medium-Sized Enterprises; H) The Encouragement Of Potential Employers Located In And/or Trading From In Such Areas To Hire Such Persons; I) Working With Potential Employers Located In And/or Trading From Those Areas To Provide Assistance With Developing Employment Opportunities, Self-Employment Opportunities, Careers Advice, Coaching And/or Mentoring And Careers Action Planning Together With Promoting Apprenticeships In Each Case For Such Persons;j) The Promotion Of And Facilitating Business Mentoring For Such Persons By Employers Located In And/or Trading From Such Areas Including, But Not Exclusively, Through Insight Days And Work Placements;k) The Establishment, Operation And/or Promotion Of An Online Platform And/or Other Forms Of Technology To Advertise Job Vacancies, Career Opportunities And/or Self-Employment Opportunities In Such Areas To Such Persons And/or To Facilitate The Matching Of Such Persons As Potential Recruits With Potential Employers And/or Of Potential Mentors And Mentees Located In Such Areas;l) Acting As An Advocate And/or Intermediary Between Such Persons And Local Support Providers Based In Such Areas And Signposting Other Employment And/or Self-Employment And/or Skills-Related Support And Development Activities Provided By Other Organisations Considered To Be Of Benefit To Such Persons;m) Working In Partnership With Public, Private And/or Voluntary Sector Bodies And/or Representatives Of And/or Within The Armed Forces In Each Case Seeking To Support The Transition And Improve The Employability Of Such Persons And/or Their Ability To Achieve Self-Employment.
