Gryphon First Aid Unit 

Trustees report 2023-2024 

Last year has been a slow start as still recovering from the loss of the founder Martin Richards, we have guaranteed a major event supporting a well established charity. Gryphon is providing free baby,child and adult choking cpr training to a wide area for members of the public. And bringing in the awareness of having access to 24hr accessable defibs. 

We are also taking part of younger education by offering our service for free to the crucial crew weeks. 

We are now very well known in the area and recognised by our community as a reliable and professional service provider with accreditation from Qualsafe as an awarding body. 

Events and our training activity have been restricted but we have done what we can and used the opportunity to plan for the future. We are being used by the local authority as a local resource and have got good links with the volunteer sector in Suffolk. 

We continue to keep up to date with continued professional development over and above our standard certificated requirements. 

We are looking forward to continuing to develop and provide support where we can.
