**Objects:** TO RELIEVE THE NEED OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH DOWN’S SYNDROME BY:-1.PROVIDING A HAPPY AND SECURE ENVIRONMENT WHICH MEETS THEIR EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL, HEALTH, EDUCATIONAL AND COMMUNICATIONAL NEEDS;2.STRIVING FOR EQUALITY AND INCLUSION IN ALL ASPECTS OF THEIR LIVES AND ENSURING THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO MAKE A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION TO THE SOCIETY IN WHICH THEY LIVE; AND3.ENSURING THAT ALL WHO ARE INVOLVED WITH THE CHILD AND YOUNG PERSON’S ENVIRONMENT, CARE, SUPPORT AND EDUCATION ARE THEMSELVES FULLY INFORMED AND SUPPORTED.

**Activities:** Small steps is a charity that supports and helps educate families expecting a child or families/carers with a child with a diagnosis of Down syndrome.We have weekly meetings where we explore sensory play, learn sign language, do craft activities and support each other.We have a monthly meeting for children of school age. This group learns life skills, builds friendships, and essential support.
