Under rhe Constitution, rh• Club's obieets are the f unher advancernent of edijcatjon of pupils at The Windsor Boys, Sch¢Jol (thé School) by providin8 or assisting in the provision of rowin8 faclllties. The CIUD rains and enloys i elose assoclation wlth the School. Trustees may be appointèd •x officio or by elerfion at the Annual Gérs8ral Meeting IAGM). The on8oin8 ooeratlon of the Club is managed by an Executive Comrnittee consisting of a Chairman, a Treasurer, a Secretary and other eletted m•mbfrr5, The Exeeut5ve Committee rDeet5 on a monlhiy basis and theTrustees meet twice per annum. The AGM is usually held In Octob•rea=h year. Operatlon5 The Club orovidesequipment and coaching to enable young people aged 13-19to rctw and operates from b•8inner to international representational Itvel. The Club is highly respected In the rowlng cornmunity and achleves considerable succe55, de5Plte manv hallen¢es, through the stror•E arrfl inspirin8 leadershlp of the Dlrector of Rowing who insti115 a culture of dedication, focus and hard work across the Club. The programrne rernains one of the leading School rowln8 clubs in the UK, eombinTrn8 hiBh-performance results with broad participation opportunilie5, Stron8 academic support, and extensive dornestic and International racin8 Opportunities. The 2024125 season was one of the rnosl successful In club history. Major achievements included victories at njtional winter races. multiplft med•ls acr055 all ale ¥roups. Nationèl S¢nools' Regatia successes. and strong perforrnances at the British Rowin8 ChampTronsnips. The :lub won Champlonship Quads and Charnpionship Coxed Fours at National khools, Regatta and finished at the top of the boys, medal table. The club WQD the Fawlev Challeo8e Cup at Henley Royal Regattè, the event which is the primary focus of the domestic cal0*r. The club also regisrered success in the British Rowing Charnpicnships. Athlete5 achieved numerous A-fir%al medals: in¢ludin8 nèrional Titles in J18 Doubles and J18 Quads, toiether with rnultjgle silver medal performances across J15 and J16 cate8ories. Durini •4he perlod, tP4.e Club reeovded a deficit in the per',cd. largely due to capltal spend on replacement equiprnent, uslng funds raised in pr*b'icus year5, and endin8 the year with larier than normal balance due to TW8S of £55,553. This wa5 rTrostly settled in the first few rnonth5 after the year end when se¥Èral signifrc•nt ¢osh inflows were ceived including outst4nding gift aid claims and proceeds from sales of fixed assets. The closing cèsl balance was £34,08712024: £52.1461. Amounts received from £rnnts and donations for specific types of expenditure not yet spent total £36.82412024'. £45.8221, being terns of eoulpment and site purchase. The available, unrestrirted funds ar• negative £2,737 12024 positive £6.322}. This ne8ètive balan¢e was restored to • positive balance as a resdlt of the significant cash inflows after the year end. Considering the cash inflow after the vear end, the Trus:ees CODSider this to be an acceptable position and continue 40 reiv on fundraising activities by the parental 5UPPOrt 8roup to maintain the current level of operation5 of the Club.
