Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
To promote and protect good physical and mental health, for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively, among people who are practising Muslims.
Following the repurposing the service in the context of the covid19 pandemic to provide counselling services to the communities in London Birmingham and the surrounding areas in the context of the pandemic. The Lateef Project has continued these services. In addition The Lateef Project Has supported NHS front line staff and provided counselling to Afghan refugees.
In opening up our provision trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
