**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE RELIEF OF NEED OF THOSE WHO ARE EMPLOYED OR HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED IN THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS UNDER THE AGE OF 19 IN THE UNITED KINGDOM (HEREINAFTER THE 'BENEFICIARIES' AND EACH A 'BENEFICIARY'), BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, ADVICE AND OTHER ASSISTANCE TO BENEFICIARIES AND THE UNDERTAKING AND SUPPORTING OF RESEARCH INTO MATTERS RELEVANT TO THE NEEDS OF BENEFICIARIES.

**Activities:** The objects of the Teaching Staff Trust are the relief of need of those who are employed or have been employed (for more than five years)  in the education of pupils under the age of 19 in the United Kingdom, by the provision of grants, advice and other assistance.We also undertake and support research into matters relevant to the needs of beneficiaries.
