## Trustees Report 

The Coventry Migrant Womens House continues to run a 4 bedroom house in Coventry, and provide rooms and basic living essentials to destitute forced migrant women. 

In 2020 – 2021 we adapted our work due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and offered extended licences to the residents to ensure no-one would be made homeless during the pandemic. We also suspended our usual face to face community activities, although the residents continued to be active within a range of local and national community groups that moved to meeting and working online.

Notes to the accounts: 

We have been granted a 50% reduction on council tax on the basis of the property’s use. 

Grant funding was received with thanks from the Network for Social Change and Awards for All. Donations were received with thanks from Coventry Quaker Meeting among others. 

Coronavirus has affected our expenditure with many events being cancelled or moved online. 

The Balance Carried Forward includes the value of our property which is not available for project or running costs; the Funds Available shows the money the charity has available to spend. 

We received a joint grant of £7219 shared between CMWH and Mama Liverpool; as per the grant agreement £450 was retained by CMWH to support women from the midlands claiming asylum in Liverpool, and £6769 was transferred to Mama for their activities supporting migrant women in Liverpool. 

The £450 of the grant outlined above is restricted.
