**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:A) TO PROMOTE THE ARTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, AND IN PARTICULAR THE ART OF LITERATURE, BY THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF AN ANNUAL ARTS FESTIVAL.B) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY PROMOTING AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE APPRECIATION, UNDERSTANDING AND ENJOYMENT OF LITERATURE.

**Activities:** To promote all genre of literature by the establishment and maintenance of an annual literary event, the Penzance Literary Festival for 4 days in July every year, and a number of LitFest Extra events during the year.To work with local youth and schools to advance education, appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of all forms of literature.
