During the year we were able to employ
the Youth Development Leader on a full-
time basis rather than the part-time
basis under which he was originally
employed.
This increase in hours has meant the
club was able to expand club offerings
significantly in this reporting year {as
described in the Main Activities
section).

As a result of the links with other
organisations established by the YDL
club members have had opportunities to
participate in activities which would
otherwise have been unavallable to
them.
We anticipate these links will allow the
club to continue to support individuals
in the community.

The YDL has achieved results well in
excess of what the trustees had hoped

groups and the volunteerJ supporting
these groups.
Achievements against
objectives set
Para 1.41
In June 2024 the club was selected as
winner of the InC<>mmon Foundation
Most Inclusive Award.
This award goes to an interyenerational
group thavs gone out of its way to make
their project inclusive and accessible so
that more people Can get involved in
intergenerational social action.
The judglng panel was impressed with
how inclusivity was at the core of
everything Chichester Boys Club did
and how they had created a safe space
for everyone to thrive.
The charity has been very fortunate in
support we have received from local
charitable trusts. Chichester City
Council, Chichester District Council and
individuals and while our expenditure
for the year exceeded our income part of
this is attributable to a temporary
Increase in staff costs as we employed
an assistant to the Youth Development
