The Trustees have regarded the guidance on the activities for the public benefit and to adhere to its objectives **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** The loft spaces at both ends of the building are now let, At one end for 9 months the Chichester Information Shop for Young People, who provided a complementary activity to that of the Boys Club. This was succeeded by the Apuldram Hub that provides activities for young adults with learning difficulties. At the other end there is a purely commercial acidity, an electrolysis clinic The extra income from the rents is applied to meeting the core objectives. This parallels the income derived from the use of the Boys’ Club by community groups. This offering is much valued by the users that meet during the school day. The façade of the building now displays pictures of the various activities so that the public are made more aware of the objects of the charity. ## **Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)** March **2012** **TAR** 3 Through the generosity of organisations and donors the tired beach hut at West Wittering was replaced, painted and fitted out with the help of Trustees. The new facility will be made available to all users, of the Boys’ Club. an important asset in the summer months at the seaside. Section D Achievements and performance March **2012** **TAR** 4 ## Section D Achievements and performance **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** The Boys’ Club acts as a hub for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme now that this opportunity in schools has diminished. A very high standard has been obtained by young boxers who continue to have successes at County and the National level. Travel has been facilitated by the purchase of a minibus although it has been subjected to SORN when it has not been possible for travel during the pandemic.
