The Charity is constituted as a trust and Trustees are selected by appointment. The principal address of the CIO is 557, Gifford’s Lane, Haselbury Plucknett, Somerset. TA187RH. 

The objects of the CIO are set out in its constitution as: 

the provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Haselbury Plucknett and the surrounding areas, without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for: (a) meetings, lectures and classes, and (b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants. 

The primary tasks of the trust is raise funds, receive grants and donations. Consequently, to apply funds to carry out the work of the charity in the planning, building. equipping and managing the Village Hall. 

Activity in the period, 31/12/19 to 1/1/2020 

During the period above, the Charity has been unable to carry forward any of their aims as there has been and is, a hiatus in acquiring the site of the Village Hall due to, principally, difficult obtaining planning 



permission. 

The trustees have not met as a group as there has been little movement in obtaining the site. Trustees however, are still optimistic that there will be movement in 2021 Chairman and Secretary declare that they have approved the trustee’s report.
