## Activities

**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PROMOTE THE SCIENCES OF AGRICULTURE, ARBORICULTURE, HORTICULTURE AND THE STORAGE, PACKAGING AND MARKETING OF FRUIT AND TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC INCLUDING SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT AND HEALTH ASPECTS OF THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO.

**Activities:** The aims of the Society will be to promote the sciences of agriculture, arboriculture, horticulture, and the storage, packaging and marketing of fruit.  Hold an Annual Fruit Show.  To hold and promote public shows, to hold and run and promote open and other competitions in any of the subjects, and to award prizes for merit and excellence.  To promote and educate school children and others.
