## CLEGG PLAYING FIELD 2015 

## Synopsis of actvity since last meetng. 

No actual Trustee meetings have taken place since the 3[rd] August 2022 but work has continued on the field. 

The replacement trees were planted in January 2023, six Himalayan birch (Jacquemonti) and also six Liquid Amber Worpledon on the Railway Street side of the field and also three Alder and two red Hawthorn to the brook edge of the field. 

One of the trees planted close to the brook, an alder, has been damaged by vandals the tree being sawn through at about half its height.  This is still alive but is now bushy.  Also, one of the trees up to Railway Street has also been damaged by vandals. 

A further three rowans have fallen in high winds and have been removed. Field maintenance has continued as normal.
