|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|As a church with a growing congregation, supporting<br>150+ local and remote members (those living in<br>other parts of the country) and a larger diverse<br>group of hundreds of friends, family and visitors<br>participating on-line and in-person.<br>Some of the main activities this year have included:<br>▪<br>**Worship & Devotion**– breaking of bread<br>memorial (communion) services every Sunday,<br>Christmas and Easter celebrations, modern and<br>traditional songs and praise with local<br>musicians, prayer groups both in-person,<br>on-line and via WhatsApp; morning Bible<br>reading several times a week on Zoom; adult<br>baptism services throughout the year marking<br>this special commitment to God & Lord Jesus<br>Christ<br>▪<br>**Learning & Teaching**– practical teaching for<br>youth groups (primary and secondary school<br>age), Sunday School each week for 30+ children,<br>Wednesday night on-line Bible Class covering an<br>array of topics with people and members<br>joining local and from around the country,<br>Bible-based practical classes for Iranian<br>refugees travelling in from both Maidenhead<br>and further afield on Sundays (e.g. West<br>Drayton, Slough, London)<br>▪<br>**Care & acts of service**– pastoral care for our<br>local congregation, friends, family and a large<br>number of refugees from Iran; Rainbow Toddler<br>group for 20-50+ local parents/carers in<br>Maidenhead each Wednesday providing craft,<br>singing, friendship, snacks/refreshments; joint<br>fund-raising with our youth group / Sunday<br>School and church for local community<br>charities; promotion of weekly collections for<br>local, national and international charities (e.g.<br>care homes, food banks, disaster relief orgs)<br>▪<br>**Friendship & fellowship**– fortnightly youth<br>groups with all kinds of activities (craft, sailing,<br>games/quizzes, cooking) and Bible time for all<br>ages joining from across Thames Valley; fun<br>activities every few months for junior<br>primary-age and hiking/camping weekends for<br>teenagers and young adults; church outing to a<br>family farm with food, outdoor games and<br>activities; informal social activities (e.g. cycling,<br>restaurant meals, eveningdrinks etc); weekly|





coffee morning for drinks and chat in Maidenhead church and local cafes; ‘Big Church Get Together’ held every 6 months, to help keep connected with our growing church in a larger local venue (Holyport village hall), enjoying worship, prayer and praise, message of encouragement, breaking of bread and indoor/outdoor activities and meal together
