The charity is governed by its constitution which was registered on 11th July 2018.
The charity is managed by the trustees. On8-third of the trustees resign each year at the
AGM and are then eligible to stand for re*lection if they wish. Trustee vacancies may be
fllled by decision of the members at the AGM. The members or the trustees may at any
time decide to appoint a new trustee, whether In place of a trustee who has retired or
been removed, or as an additional trustee.
Activities and ob'8Ctives
The main activities are the provision of horse riding and Garriage driving for disabled
adults by suitably qualrfied instructors and assistants.
The charity's objectives are to promote the objects of the Riding For The Disabled
Associalion Incorporating Carriage-Driving, a charity registered under charity number
244108, by providing disabled people with the opportunity to ride andlor carriage drive
to benéfit their health and well-being in the East Suffolk Area.

Achievements
erformance and ublic benefit re
The charity ha8 Gontinued lo provide horseriding for disabled adults throughout Ihe year and
during the year commenced carriage drivin9 for disabled adults after an extensive period of
pr8paTation.
The trustees wish to thank the volunt¢ers for the invaluable assistance and support they have
provided throughout the year.
The trustee8 consider that they have taken the commissicn's public benefit guidance into
account when making any decision that the guidance is relevant to.

Financial review and

The Charity's investments are held In COIF Charities Inve8tmenl Fund Income Units. The
market value increased from £276,909 at the start of th8 y88r, to £301,974 at 318t March
2024.
In the year ended 31st March 2024 bank receipts totalled £9,680, Including dividends of
£8,052 from the COIF investments, Paymgnts totalled £8,814, including £3,590 to the
riding school for hcr8e and facilities hire, £745 for training courses and a donation of £2,000
to a local RDA group to help them during their period of enforced closure because of an
outbreak of Equine Herpesvirus.
Receipts exceeded payments by £866, inGrea8ing the bank balance to £4,490 at 31st
March 2024.
At 31st March 2024 £110 was owed to ltte charity for riding fees and amounts owed by the
charity were £460 to the riding school for riding sessions and approximately £100 owed to
the cafe al the riding school, for light refreshments for volunteers.

continue to meet its objedives for several years ahead. The bank balance and investrnents
stood at £306,464 in total at 31st March 2024 which is expected to be sufficient for many
years ahead. The trustees are aware of the need to make good use of the funds whilst
maintaining capital for the future.

As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the acGounts in accordance with the
requirements of the Charitiès Act 2011 ('th8 Act,).
I report in respect of my exarnlnation of the Charity's accounts Garried out under Section 145 of the
2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Dir8Ctions given by the
Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act,
