The Church holds a service of public worship on Sunday momings at 10.30 am including a Sunday School. There is also a service on Good Friday morning, a candlelit carol service at Christmas and a Christmas morning service. A weekly Bible study and prayer meeting is held on Wednesday evenings at 8.00 pm. A mother and toddler group is held in the church hall on Friday mornings. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) The Church maintains links with missionaries, Bible translators and students, both at home and abroad. The Church takes offerings and raises funds for the relief of the poor within the local community and abroad. The church holds coffee mornings for the benefit of the local community and to raise funds for local and national charities. The Church maintains a website for the benefit of the general public having an interest in Christianity. The trustees have read the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit and declare that it is their primary objective when planning all activities and fulfilling the charity's purposes, whether that be, for instan, holding services of public worship or carrying out routine tasks like maintenance of the property. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year The Church has continued to hold worship services every Sunday and Bible study and prayer meetings. Church SeNiS are being held in the chapel and a candlelit carol servi th was held on 8 December. The services are available on You Tube for those not able to attend in person. The Church has continued to support organisations helping to provide education and relief to poor children in Costa Rica and Peru. poor families in Romania. and has supported the local food bank. The Church has received financial support from the Evangelical Fellowship of Congregational Churches, an organisation to which the church is affiliated. to help with funding the pastor. It is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act. and to stste whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given examiner's statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records.
