On average, up to thirty people typically attend drama group and 60 cholr each week. Additlonally, Unleashed Theatre Company Is home to the Unleashed Theatre Company arnateur dramatic group. a theatre company committed to puttin8 on high quality plays and shows. Unleashed gratefvlly acknowledges the enorrnous contribution and commltment of the many volunteer5 who enable the charity to stage its productions and run Unleashed's groups. In addltlon. we wekwied a number of outside or8anisations and groups such as the Newton Abbot Orchestra, Ubuntu Educational. Black Riders Sesslon Players, Sarah Chaplin Gospel Hymn Night, Llonel Dlgby and The Dartlngton Players whilst South Devon Players appeared twke. Searchll8ht productions a150 performed a thou8ht provokAn8 play based around the ntank story. The bulldln8 was also used by CentrePeace, ROC, Operion EmotloTr and local sdwls. A new Inltlatfve In 2024 has been the launth of the Silver Screen Club. showln8 films of vesteryear to a sdect audlence. In add111, we tsunched the Retro Fllm aub. screenln8 the blockbustefs from th 805 and 905. In 2024 8rowln8 audlences enjoyed fllms suth as Murder She Said - as part of A8atha Chrlstbe Festbval, Hnk Panther, Ivs a Wonderful Llfe, Gremllns Goonles and Back to the Future. Natlonal L4tffy R•athlr¥ Comrnunftlu Fund 2024 was the Second year of • three year round of fvndin8 and ha5 helped 5tabili5e Unleashed's transition into its new space. The fvnding allows for the employment of Martln Harrls as Creative Oirector and Paul Martin a5 Flnance & OperatSons Manager. both post5 are part tlrne. The fundin8 also cover5 the general overhead costs relatin8 to the runnin8 of the dubs as well as other costs suth as web support. It Is vrith 8reat appreciation that Unleashed receives thls funding as ft helps provlde 5tabllity and con5i5tency in the delivery of our communlty 8roup& Herftale Lottery & Arthlt•(turnl H•rlWe Funds In 2023 Unleashed were awarded funds which. when combined, alowed us to undergo resllience programme to help lay the foundations for the futuro. A new venture for 2024. the OCN course Is a structured course In perforn)In8 arts leadln8 to a qualfficatk•n aqu5valent to a GCSE. Aimed at p•ople who have an interest in p•rfomiin8 arts. thls first course attracted 10 people r4n8Sn8 In 18e from mld 2(Ys to 90. Teachin8 was provlded by a number of suitably qualified people and the course devised and overseen by our CEO. Martffin H4rrls. Fundln8 for the course came from a Partnershlp vthth Shaklnah enablln8 partklpants 10 be fvlly supported. Following on from the success of our benefft concerts In 2016 and 2017 the comrnunlty cholr was establlshed In 2019 followini a successful fvndln8 applkatlon to The Natlonal Lottery. Thankfulty. Unleashed Choir was able to resume sessbms In September 2021 with both orl8inal and new member5 attendln& Slnce the rnove to our own theatre Cornmunlty Cholr now wekomes an avera8e of 60 member5 per week In 2024. the cholr perforn)ed In two tkketed events In addltlon to the weekly meetings.
