The purpose of the PSA
St George's Catholic PL'imaiy School PSA exists to advance the education of the pupils in St George's
Catholic School in paiticulai. by
Developing effective relationships between the staff, pai'ents and otliers associated with the school.
Engaging in activities oi. providing facilities andlor equipment which supports the school and advances
the ediication of the pupils.
The Gioup's governing document is it's constitution which was adopted on 2. Maich 2016.
Activities this yeai. included the Summei. fail., Clll'istmas fail., school discos, Easter egg hunt, bingo nights
and othei events.. This ye￿. the PSA conti'ibuted £13,089 to the school which included £7,893 foi. picnic
beiiclies loutdooi play and educational equiptnent, £2,924 foi ICT Equipment and £1,824 foi school
woikshops foi. the childien.
At the end of the year income rese￿eS amounted to £34,296. The PSA'S policy on i'eserves is to hold
funds readily available to suppoit the school and the PSA has committed to funding a piogram to buy a
new school minibus.
The accounts have been drawn up on a receipts and payments basis which is consistent with the pievious

I report on the accounts of the School's PSA for the year 31 August 2024 which comprise the Receipts and
Payments Account.
This report is made solely to the trustees in accordance with Section 145 of the Charities Act 201 l. My work has
been undertaken so that I might state to the charity's trustees those inatters I am required to state to them in an
Indcp¢ndcnt Examiner's report and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent perniitted by law, I do not accept or
assume responsibility to anyone other than the charity and the charity's trustccs for my cxamination work.
Respective responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
The School's PSA are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. They consider that an audit is not r¢quir¢d
for this year (under Section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act)) and that an independent examination
is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
Examine the accounts (under Section 145 of the Charities Act).
To follow the procedures laid down in th¢ General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners (under
Section 145{5)(b) of the Charitics Act). and
To state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of Independent Examiner's report
My cxamination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners.
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the PSA and a comparison of the accounts
presented with thosc records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or dis¢losur¢s in the accounts, and
seeking explanations from you as truste¢s concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide
all the evidence that would b¢ required in an audit, and consequentEy no opinion is given as to whether the aocounts
present a 'true and fair, view and the i'eport is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
