**Objects:** THE TRUST IS ESTABLISHED FOR THE BENEFIT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACROSS MANCHESTER TO ADVANCE EDUCATION BY DEVELOPING SKILLS IN MUSIC, MUSIC TECHNOLOGY AND THE RELATED ARTS THROUGH FINANCIAL AND OTHER SUPPORT TO SCHOOL, OTHER ORGANISATIONS, CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS AND INDIVIDUALS INVOLVED IN MUSIC AND RELATED ARTS.

**Activities:** Examples of work include: ? the ?Big Sing? where schools come together to sing popular songs ? a summer school for disadvantaged young people at Band on the Wall, led by Brighter Sound ? A project in Manchester Library where young people came together to create and perform their own music ? An ongoing project with Bridgewater Hall for families of children with special educational needs
