|||||The Choir held its AGM in September 2021|
|||||but did not recommence<br>singing<br>until|
|||||January 2022. Given the reduced<br>numbers|

|||||of new people being exposed to choral|

|||||new season 2022-23. While the registered|
|||||name ofthe choir will remain<br>Cumbria<br>Rural|
|||||Choirs,<br>in order to maintain<br>the relevance of|
|||||the society in the promotion<br>of vocal|
|||||activities for the public good throughout<br>the|
|||||North Cumbria<br>Region, and to recognise the|
|||||far greater role of 'independent'<br>singers, the|
|||||Choir will trade under the name 'Cumbria|
|||||Singers'.|
