## **Activities for 2024/2025** 

For this year the charity focussed on fundraising activities throughout the year. Below are the events that we held 

- On the 24[th of] March 2024, the organization donated office furniture including Tables, Chairs, sofas, books, and magazines. 

- On 10[th] May 2024- we had our Africana Night. 

- On the 5[th of] July 2024 -we had a joint event ‘Fancy Dress Disco’ with our Brother Alumni school (The Albert Academy) 

- On the 20[th] Of September 2024 – we had our Jeans Night Event 

- We were also able to attend events run by the Charity Commission from October – December 2024 for our personal development: 

- On Tuesday 15th October 2024- Responding to Crises Overseas, this webinar guided Responding to Crises Overseas for trustees and representatives of international charities. 

- On Tuesday 22nd October 2024- Due Diligence Checks and Monitoring the End Use of Funds. This webinar guided Due Diligence Checks and Monitoring the End Use of Funds for trustees and representatives of charities operating internationally. 

- On Tuesday 19th November 2024 - Safeguarding in an International Context: Charity Commission’s Expectations, this webinar guided Safeguarding in an International Context for trustees and representatives of charities operating internationally. 



## **Grant Making Activities** 

The charity donated a brand new brass band to Harford school in Moyamba, Freetown, Sierra Leone.

The Harford Old Brass Band Girls are proud to unveil a brand new HSG Brass Banda bold, brilliant marching brass band, bringing rhythm, pride, and unity to the streets of Sierra Leone! 

A group of talented Harfordians, one powerful sound. A mission to inspire, unite, and celebrate music🏌️ ♀ 🎼
