## **Report of the Trustees for the year ended 31 August 2025**
The trustees present their annual report and the financial statements for the year ended 31 August 2024. The trustees have adopted the provisions of the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities' effective 1 January 2015.
## **Structure, Governance and Management**
## **Governing Document**
God's Vineyard Ministries was originally a charitable organisation registered with the Charity Commission and governed by a Trust Deed dated 5th August 2001 and supplementary deed dated 14th May 2003 until 12th November, 2018 when it fully changed status to Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
## **Recruitment and appointment of new trustees**
Generally trustees are appointed by Board of Trustees. Trustees are appointed by invitation as at when required and depending on their expertise and requirements of the charity.
## **Induction and training of new trustees**
We arrange appropriate training both internally and through other voluntary training providers. The trustees and all involved in running the charity, including volunteers are always encouraged to acquire the necessary skills required for the achievement of the charity objectives.
Additionally, new trustees are invited and encouraged to attend series of short training sessions to familiarise themselves with the charity and the context within which it operates.
## **Organisational structure**
The trustees who served during the period and up to the date of the report are set out above. The day to day responsibility for the running of the charity lies with the Senior Pastor. The Senior Pastor is accountable to the Board of Trustees who are ultimately responsible for all strategic decisions of the charity.
The trustees meet regularly and are responsible for the strategic direction and policy of the charity. All trustees including the senior pastor give their time voluntarily and receive no benefits from the charity. There are full time employees who are engaged in the administrative running of the Church office. The charity is also assisted by members who render voluntary services.
## **Risk Management**
The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed, in particular those related to operations and finances of the charity, and are satisfied that systems are in place to mitigate exposure to major risks.
## **Objectives and Principal Activities**
Our objectives and principal activity is to promote the advancement of the christian faith, the relief of poverty to general public and promotion and fulfilment of various charitable causes within the local community and such other parts of the United Kingdom and the world as the trustees think fit.
The Charity pursues these objectives by operating at the headquarter church in Nottingham and across our satellite churches.
## **Mission statement**
To minister to the total man through:
a) Church Planting: To have churches planted all over the United Kingdom and abroad.
b) Prison Ministry: Providing support and encouragement to offenders while in the Prison. Mentoring programs aimed at befrending ex-offenders to help and re-integrate them into the society.Skill development that can help them to be gainfully employed.
c) Ministry to the Homeless: Sharing God's love with the homeless and vulnerable people in the community. d) Family Forum: Quarterly programmes which focus on relevant family issues; parenting, relationships, communication etc.
- e) Youth Development &Capacity Building: Library open to students and others in the community, computer
training specially designed to help equip the youth for employment, seminars, counselling on drug addiction, marriage, carreer etc.

## **Ensuring Our Work Delivers Our Aims**
We review our aims, objectives and activities each year. This review looks at what we achieved and the outcomes of our work in the previous 12 months. The review looks at the success of each key activity and the benefits theyhave brought to those groups of people we are set up to help. The review also helps us ensure our aim, objectives and activities remained focused on our stated purposes. We have referred to the guidiance contained in the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing our aim and objectives and in planning our future activities. In particular, the trustees consider how planned activities will contribute to the aims and objectives they have set.
## **The Focus of Our Work**
Our main objectives for the year continued to be the advancement of the Christian religion and the relieve of poverty and sickness. The policy of God's Vineyard Ministries is to pursue objectives in the following ways:
1. Provision of Weekly Churces on Thursday and Sundays and to minister to physical,spiritual and material needs of the congregants.
2. Provision of services to individuals, families and community at large. The service includes a wide range of spiritual and social care.
3. Focusing on the material needs of certain members undergoing difficult financial situations.
4. Working with other Christian agencies and Churches in Nottingham, London, Derby, Manchester, Birmingham and Loughborough to advance the preaching of the Gospel.
5. Radical Youth outreaches in over 25 Universities in the United Kingdom at: Aston University(Birmingham) Bristol University, Derby University,Leicester University,Loughborough University,Manchester Univeristy, University of East Anglia,-Norwich Nottingham Trent Univeristy, Nottingham University(Headquater),
Bradford University, Coventry University, Sheffield University etc.
6. Offering our services to anyone in need of spiritual help through free Christain counselling, prayers and deliverance solely on the basis of our ability to provide appropriate help and regardless of race, colour nationality, religion,gender,age, legal status and personal history.
## **Development and Achievements in the Year**
The charity's events were properly managed, executed and reviewed for its impact on members. Our charity continues to grow in Sunday morning attendance, youth and children's ministry. We minister to the physical, mental and spiritual needs of our members and new comers in our midst. We have helped relief poverty and hardship amongst both regular and irregular congregants who are suffering from financial hardship due to unemployment and lack of financial resources.
The charity conducted crusades in the community to propagate the Christian tenets to non Christians. The charity has not undertaken any large capital projects although it continues to search for appropriate site to increase its charitable activities.
## **Financial Review**
The charity was able to raise a total income of £759,506 during the year under review.
## **Principal Funding Sources**
The principal funding sources for the charity are currently by way of donations and gifts from congregants through the offering basket passed during church services and though bank standing orders. We have exercised our right to reclaim the tax on the donations and gifts received from the congregants and this has proved a steady and growing source of additional income.
## **Investment Policy**
The Charity retains a significant amount in the savings account. The objective of the investment policy is to invest in cash at banks where the capital is protected. The charity currently has a policy of keeping any surplus liquid funds in cash at banks where immediate access and security of funds is guaranteed.

## **Reserves Policy**
It is the policy of the charity to maintain unrestricted funds which are the free reserves of the charity at a level which equates to at least 3 months of unrestricted expenditure. This provides sufficient funds to cover management and administration and support costs and to respond to emergencies which may arise from time to time.
The expenditure for 2025 was £703,486 and therefore the targeted reserves should be between £175,871.50 and £351,743 in general funds. The reserves are needed to meet the working capital requirements of the charity and the trustees are confident that at this level they would be able to continue the current activities of the charity in the event of a significant drop in funding. The reserve policy was not met during this year.
## **Plans for Future Periods**
In the near future, the charity plans to expand its operations and will continue our drive towards providing more benefits to our community The Charity plans continuing the activities outlined above in forthcoming years subject to satisfactory funding arrangements such as Work Based Academy comprising - Youth Employment,Sector based Academy, Adult Education and Training for not in Education or Employment for not in Education or Employment/Vocational Training.

## **Trustees ' Responsibilities**
Charity Law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity as at the balance sheet date and of its incoming resources and applications of resources, including income and expenditure, for the financial year. In preparing those financial statements the trustees should follow best practice and the followings:
Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently
Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent
Prepare the financial statements on going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the company and to enable them to ensure that the financial statement comply with the Charities Act 1993. They are also responsible for the safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
## **Statement of Disclosure of Information to the Accountants**
In accordance with charity law, as trustees, we certify that:
So far as we are aware, there is no relevant information of which the charity's accountants are unaware; and as the trustees of the charity we have taken all steps that we ought to have taken in order to make ourselves aware of any relevant information and to establish that the Charity's accountants are aware of that information'.

## **Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of the God's Vineyard Ministries for the year ended 31 August 2025**
I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 August 2024, which are set out on pages 7 to 13.
## **Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner**
The Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (The 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibilty to:
examine the accounts (under section 145(1) of the Charity Act 2011;
follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145 (5)[b] of the Charity Act 2011; and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention
## **Basis of Independent examiners statement**
My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a "true and fair" view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below:
## **Independent examiners statement**
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
(1) which gives us reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act 2011; and
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2011 Act and with the methods and principles of the Statement of Recommended Practice: Accounting and Reporting by Charities, have not been met; or
(2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

## **1. Accounting Policies**
The principal accounting policies are summarised below. The accounting policies have been applied consistently throughout the year and in the preceding year.
## **(a) Basis of Accounting**
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention, as modified by the inclusion of fixed assets investments at market value, and in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice: Accounting and Reporting by Charities effective 1 January 2015.
## **(b) Fund Accounting**
Unrestricted funds are available for use at the discretion of the trustees in furthermore of the general objectives of the charity. Unrestricted funds include a revaluation reserve representing the restatement of investment assets at market values.
Designated funds are unrestricted funds earmarked by the Trustees for particular purposes.
Restricted funds are subjected to restrictions on their expenditure imposed by the donor or through the terms of an appeal.
## **(c ) Incoming Resources**
All incoming resources are included in the statement of financial activities when the charity is entitled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. The following specific policies are applied to particular categories of income:
Voluntary income is received by way of grants, donations and gifts and is included in full in the Statement of Financial Activities when receivable. Grants, where entitlement is not conditional on the delivery of a specific performance by the charity , are recognised when the charity becomes unconditionally entitled to the grant.
Donated services and facilities are included at the value to the charity where this can be quantified. The value of services provided by volunteers has not been included in these accounts.
Invested income is included when receivable.
Incoming resources from charitable trading activity are accounted for when earned.
Incoming resources from grants, where related to performance and specific deliverables, are accounted for as the charity earns the right to consideration by its performance.
## **(d) Resources expended**
Expenditure is recognised on an accrual basis as a liability is incurred. Expenditure includes any VAT which cannot be fully recovered, and is reported as part of the expenditure to which it relates:
Costs of generating funds comprise the costs associated with attracting voluntary income and the costs of trading for fundraising purposes.
Charitable expenditure comprises those costs incurred by the charity in the delivery of its activities and services for its beneficiaries. It includes both costs that can be allocated directly to such activities and those costs of an indirect nature necessary to support them.
Governance costs include those costs associated with meeting the constitutional and statutory requirements of the charity and include the accountancy fees and costs linked to the strategic management of the charity.
All costs are allocated between the expenditure categories of the SoFA (Statement of Financial Activities) on a of the resource. Costs relating to a particular activity are allocated directly, others are apportioned on an basis designed to reflect the use appropriate basis e.g. floor areas, per capita or estmated usage as set out in Note 4.

## **e. Fixed Assets**
Fixed assets (excluding investments and Land and Building) are stated at cost less accumulated depreciation. The costs of minor additions or those costing below £1,000 are not capitalised. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write of the cost of each asset over its expected useful life, which in all cases is estimated at 4 years.
Depreciation of Building is calculated to write off its cost over 50 years on a straight line basis.
Investments held as fixed assets are revalued at mid market value at the balance sheet date and the gain or loss taken to the Statement of Financial Activities.

No member of the Board of Trustees, Chief Executive/Senior Pastor received any remuneration during the year.
## **7. Taxation**
As a charity, God's Vineyard Ministries is exempt from tax on income and gains falling within section 505 of the Taxes Act 1988 or s256 of the Taxation of Chargeable Gains Act 1992 to the extent that these are applied to its charitable objects. No tax charges have risen in the Charity.

## **WELCOME TO GODʼS VINEYARD MINISTRIES**
We are fondly known amongst the community where we are based as GVC .
Our desire is to see you become a part of this family of God and to find a place where you can serve God joyfully and fulfil your Godordained purpose on the earth. If you are already familiar with us, please allow us to reintroduce ourselves.
## **WHO WE ARE**
We are not just a conventional church. We are more than a church; we are a family. Godʼs Vineyard Ministries is a God given vision, where God is the Gardener, Jesus is the Vine and we are the Branches. Through this relationship, we spread the gospel to the world and bear fruits that abide to serve as the Vineyard of God on earth (John 15).

Our vision is to raise a people with a Kingdom mindset, to discover their purpose, maximize their potentials and influence their generation with the Gospel of Christ.

We bring this vision to life by focusing on our mission: empowering lives and building society. Godʼs Vineyard Ministries is a praying church, and we are committed to raising a praying generation of young and old believers, who will put Godʼs Kingdom first. (Matt 6:33).

We are also committed to raising a generation of people who will be heavenly conscious and earthly relevant. We seek to help people discover their purpose and fulfil their destiny in God. This is our identity.

Godʼs Vineyard Ministries (GVM) was founded in Nottingham, United Kingdom in 2001 by Dr. Ezekiel Olusegun and Dr. (Mrs.) Funmi Alawale under Godʼs leading and instruction. During this period the Lord led Dr. Ezekiel to Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, to submit to his spiritual leadership and mentorship. Under Dr. Ezekiel & Dr. (Mrs.) Funmi Alawaleʼs oversight as Senior Pastors of GVM, the ministry now has six churches in the United Kingdom and branches in Africa and Europe.

## **MENʼS MINISTRY - KNOWN AS ‘MEN OF RADIANCEʼ**
All married men are required to be a part of the menʼs ministry. The men's ministry caters for the spiritual, social, professional, social, and economic needs of men within and outside the church. The word of God is taught in practical ways to help our men conquer their world, occupy their position in the family, the church and the community at large.
## **WOMENʼS MINISTRY - KNOWN AS ‘WOMEN OF EXCELLENCEʼ**
All married women are required to be a part of this ministry. Our womenʼs ministry is called The Women of Excellence. It is established to reach out to women of all races, age, nationality, socioeconomic status or background. We aim to teach and help women discover who they are in Christ; to recognise the destiny and potential that is in them and to harness it. To equip women with the knowledge of the word of God to overcome every limitation or obstacle the enemy might have placed on their path to fulfilling God's call upon their lives.
## **YOUTH MINISTRY - TEENAGERʼS MINISTRY YOUTH CHURCH AND - KNOWN AS ‘VINE RADICAL YOUTH (RY). TEENSʼ**
The youth ministry, known as the Radical Youth, is a vibrant ministry in our church. It's a group that is filled with young people who are "sold out" to God. Radical Youth gives young people the opportunity to use their gifts, talents, and skills to help other young people while receiving similar benefits such as love and care and generate specific attention in a godly, safe and understanding environment.
Vine Teens is an energetic ministry, engaging teenagers with dynamic worship, impactful teachings, and community outreach. Through inspiring weekly meetings, workshops and prayer, it fosters a supportive space for spiritual growth and friendship, equipping young people to face challenges, make a positive impact in their communities and stand as the next generation for Christ.
## **CHILDREN MINISTRY - KNOWN AS ‘VINE HERITAGEʼ**
Childrenʼs ministry is a priority arm in our church. The word of God is taught, children receive care and they are equipped intellectually, socially and spiritually to affect their generation in every positive way.
## **YOUNG ADULTS COMMUNITY (Y.A.C.)**
This ministry is aimed at catering for young single adults, young professionals, fresh graduates, the unemployed, young business owners, entrepreneurs, etc. It seeks to define and build the total man (men and women) to achieve excellence and make significant impact in life, in the vision, goals and mission of the church, and building in ministry, profession and relationships.

## **MULTIMEDIA DEPARTMENT**
The Multimedia Department comprises the video unit, sound unit and the projection unit. These units take care of sound, lights, media, electrical and all technical services in the ministry to make our services and meetings lively, effective and friendly. It enhances communication via modern day audio visual materials.
## **PRAYER AND INTERCESSORY DEPARTMENT**
We are a strong, active intercessory unit. We stand in the gap with fervent prayers of faith based on the word of God. God has set us as watchmen over individual members of the church, their families, the church, and the community. Our watchword is PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens). We have been witnessing the release of the avalanche power of God that does awesomely and grants us breakthroughs. God makes heaven open on us and we bask in God's glory and in the shower of his blessings.

## **EVANGELISM DEPARTMENT**
The great commission is our vision. We are involved in one to one target evangelism as well as mass evangelism via musical concerts, drama and more. We take the gospel to the homeless, drug addicts, prisons, schools and others. We believe the holistic gospel; it is the power of God unto salvation, it is the hope of mankind.
## **SANCTUARY CARE DEPARTMENT**
This ministry takes care of the church and its environment to make sure the sanctuary is clean, beautiful and conducive for worship for everyone. We welcome everyone who has a heart to clean and make the house of God tidy.
## **PUBLICITY AND SOCIAL MEDIA DEPARTMENT**
The Publicity and Publication department is a ministry that helps to inform, educate and reach out to members of the church, the community and friends of the ministry via media channels such as social media and written publications. It showcases other vital activities of the ministry with the goal of winning souls and reaching out to the unchurched. They are seen as online evangelists who help to disseminate information and the gospel online through every online means possible. The department comprises of the photography team, the social media team, the web and graphic design team as well as the editorial team for church publications. If you have a heart to learn, a passion to write, create social media contents and a drive for innovation and creativity, then look no further and join this team.
## **SUNDAY SCHOOL DEPARTMENT**
This is a teaching ministry that provides in-depth study of the word of God, delving into every area of life to produce sound Christians who understand the word of God and apply it to everyday life. Its goals are to raise disciples.
## **DISCIPLESHIP DEPARTMENT**
This department is responsible for counselling and following up with new converts as well as the maturing of existing members of the church. As a ministry we believe in raising disciples for Christ and as a result we require all our volunteers/church workers to undergo a compulsory discipleship class to enable members to be effective in their walk and service to God. We believe that in the multitude of counsel there is safety and that iron sharpeneth iron. We believe that the utmost means of showing our love to the Lord is by nurturing the lamb and feeding the sheep and we pursue this seriously with vigour. We believe in mentorship. New converts receive support from this unit, who pray with and counsel them either in person or over the telephone In keeping with the teaching of the word of God.
## **MUSIC DEPARTMENT**
The music ministry provides a vibrant and exciting worship atmosphere that has over the years built and inspired members of the church to find joy and fulfilment in the presence of the Lord. If you have a heart to worship and to sing, why not join us.

## **USHERING DEPARTMENT**
This ministry specialises in selfless, hospitable, and compassionate duties to everyone in church during our services and outreaches; providing comfort and peace of mind to members and visitors.
## **TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT**
This team helps with traffic and transportation logistics namely, bringing visitors and members to church services from various nearby collection points. The team also assists the vulnerable to and from church and supports the elderly and members with children as required. They provide information to visitors and new members if and when required. They also assist with traffic and parking around the church as well as around the church. If you have a desire to drive and assist people then here's the right place for you. All members of this department are required to be UK driverʼs licence holders.
## **ASSIMILATION AND INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT**
This is a fast paced department that requires a lot of professionalism, initiative, sacrifice, maturity and a servant's heart. This team serves the needs of the Resident Pastor and guest ministers by actively helping them with all activities that will enable them to carry out their ministry and function effectively. The team helps in welcoming guest ministers at the point of arrival - from airports and railway stations, for example - and escorting them to their hotels and back to their departure destination or other location as may be required. The team is also responsible for the pastoral care of the senior pastors, the guest ministers and their associates and at the same time working with the church office for proper logistics and organisation.
The assimilation team attends to first-time visitors, helping them transition into becoming fullfledged members of the church. This is through effective followup, support, relationship-building and discipleship classes.
## **HOUSE FELLOWSHIPS**
_The house fellowships care for individual members of the church in a unique way. It helps the church to care for members in "after church services" and day to day life._
## **HOSPITALITY AND WELFARE DEPARTMENT**
The welfare and hospitality department is established to care for every member of the church and the needy in the community, and over the years this ministry has provided succour to many. This department also provides all the refreshments, food and beverages required by guest ministers during GVM events and are responsible for the hospitality of members and attendees during church programmes.

## **REVEREND ISAAC OMOLEHIN**
Evangelist Isaac Omolehin was born in Iluke Bunu, Kabba Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria. Isaac Omolehin is the President and Founder of Word Assembly Ministries in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. He is an Evangelist and Teacher of the Word whose ministry is characterised by notable and creative miracles. He organises a 120 days crusade annually between January and April. Evangelist Isaac Omolehin got married to Dr. Mrs. Christie Omolehin whom he had met six years before in October 1982. In 1985, Rev. Mike Oye ordained Isaac Omolehin into the ministry. Evangelist Isaac Omolehin and his wife are blessed with four children who are pastors, and missionaries in different nations. Evangelist Isaac Omolehin has preached the gospel in all six continents of the world; wherever man is found.
## **APOSTLE MICHAEL OROKPO**
Apostle Michael Orokpo is the President of Encounter Jesus Ministries International. He is a dynamic and passionate leader, known for his insightful teachings and unwavering commitment to the call of God. Apostle Orokpo's ministry is characterised by a strong emphasis on spiritual growth, personal transformation, and the manifestation of God's power. The Lord has given us a clear instruction: Go forward. This is Godʼs divine intervention, especially in moments when we— whether as individuals, families, or as a ministry—face visible hindrances that appear to have stagnated our progress for years.
This is our year of divine advancement—our year of progress in spite of obvious obstacles that stand before us. God is calling us to defy what is physically visible, resist fear, and obey His voice by stepping forward in faith.
“While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.ˮ

The obstacles we see— challenges, delays, limitations, resistance—are temporary. They are subject to change and are not permanent realities. Therefore, we must remain on Godʼs side: trusting Him, waiting on Him, and depending on His intervention for our advancement through His miraculous power.
Divine advancement comes when we:
Wait for His instructions Believe His word Act on His word
This year, we will experience Godʼs miraculous deeds as we follow His divine instructions.
## **UNDERSTANDING DIVINE ADVANCEMENT**
Divine advancement means our progress is supernaturally orchestrated by God. However, there is a human responsibility in this divine process: obedience and faith-driven action.
Our role is not to analyse Godʼs word intellectually, but to obey it spiritually. Godʼs instructions may not always make sense to our natural understanding, but obedience unlocks miracles. How far we go in life is directly connected to our attitude toward Godʼs word.
Godʼs word only produces results when we act on it.
Therefore, each of us must make a personal decision to:
- Obey His instructions Follow His commands Trust His leading Walk in faith
This is how stagnation ends and advancement begins. Faith in God and faith in His Word are fundamental requirements for divine advancement.
## **STEPS TOWARDS DIVINE ADVANCEMENT**
## **1. Obedience to Godʼs Instruction**
Advancement begins when we obey what God says, not what logic, fear, or people suggest. Obedience activates divine movement.
## **2. Taking Steps of Faith**
Divine advancement requires action. God will not take the steps for us—we must take them ourselves.
- We must walk by faith, not by sight.
- We must move by obedience, not by fear.
- We must act on instruction, not on emotion.
- It is only as we take steps in obedience that divine advancement becomes a reality and not just a slogan.
## **A PROPHETIC DECLARATION OF PROGRESS**

In our lives, families, academics, careers, ministries, and divine assignments, this is a year of moving forward. The Lord is ending: Contention, Resistance, Limitations, Embargoes, Delays, Barriers, Stagnation. He is removing obstacles and releasing assistance for our lifting and rising.
## **4. Supernatural Help and Open Doors**
The Lord will grant us supernatural help. He will open previously closed doors. He will release divine opportunities. He will replace struggle and toiling with: Mercy, Favor, Grace, Speed, Ease, Acceleration, but we must be ready. We must be prepared to move. We must be sensitive to His leading. We must be courageous to take bold steps in obedience.

## **KINGDOM LIFE CONFERENCE 2025 HIGHLIGHT**
Kingdom Life Conference 2025 was like no other previous conferences. This annual ministry conference hosted by our very own Senior Pastors Dr. Ezekiel & Dr. Mrs. Funmi Alwale saw for the first time three guest ministers and one music minister: Pastor Mattew Ashimolowo, Rev Isaac Omoleyin, Apostle Michael Orokpo and Minister Neon Adejo . We were all honoured and blessed to have such an array of guest ministers to be a blessing to us. The theme of the conference was FRUITFULNESS inspired by Gen26v22.
According to Apostle Michael Orokpo, fruitfulness is often misunderstood as the result of hard work, luck, or talent. Yet true fruitfulness flows naturally when we align with Godʼs divine design. It is not something we earn—it is something we embody when we live according to His blueprint. The Bible is filled with examples: it is called The Acts of the Apostles, not the Speakings of the Apostles. Fruitfulness is action, demonstration, and impact. To be fruitful, we must first understand that we are created to reflect Godʼs image. Just as a seed naturally produces its kind, our lives produce results when rooted in His presence and power.

This dominion carries three key dimensions: governance, relevance, and the power to prevail. Governance equips us to steward our lives and surroundings responsibly. When we operate within this God-given authority, fruitfulness is inevitable, just as Joseph thrived from the pit to the palace by walking in alignment with Godʼs plan.
Fruitfulness is inseparable from Godʼs glory. Our purpose is to reflect His nature, character, and authority in every sphere of life. Like a finely tuned instrument, humans designed by God carry everything needed to thrive. When we carry Godʼs presence, our work prospers naturally. Just as the Israelites were sustained supernaturally in the wilderness, we too experience divine provision and endurance when Godʼs glory is within us. The eternal life of Christ in us sustains our efforts, ensuring growth, success, and continuity.
Biblical fruitfulness rests on three pillars: divine nature, blessing, and principles. Our nature mirrors God, ensuring that whatever we touch prospers. His blessing empowers our actions with favor, effectiveness, and purpose. Principles provide structure and consistency, guiding us toward success. Together, they form a divine blueprint that ensures fruitfulness is not a matter of circumstance, effort, or human approval—it is a natural outcome of Godʼs design.
Living in alignment with this blueprint transforms fruitfulness from an occasional occurrence into a lifestyle. It allows us to govern our lives, influence our spheres, and prevail over every challenge. It is the visible expression of Godʼs glory and authority in the world. ## OF EXCELLENCE CONFERENCE
The Women of Excellence Conference 2025 was indeed an impactful one. The conference started on Friday, 10th October and ended on Sunday, 12th October 2025. The theme of the conference was "The Perfectly Equipped Woman," with guest speakers Pastor Chioma Ibezim, Reverend Christina Obeng and inhouse speaker Pastor Seye Abu and our very own Pastor Funmi Alawale.
The highlights of the conference ranged from the Breakfast meeting at the Crowne Plaza with over one hundred and sixty persons in attendance, the panelist session during the breakfast, the Saturday evening variety and talent show evening and many more.

## the perfectly equipped woman
There is a quiet but powerful truth many women struggle to believe: God never calls anyone into purpose without first providing the necessary equipment. Feelings of inadequacy, delay, or selfdoubt may suggest otherwise, but Scripture paints a very different picture.
_2 Timothy 3:16–17 reminds us: ‘ʼAll Scripture is Godbreathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.ˮ_
This passage reveals something deeply reassuring; God does not send His daughters into life unprepared. He equips them thoroughly, intentionally, and perfectly for every assignment.
Yet many women live with the lingering sense of being unequipped. They question their readiness, their ability, or even their worthiness. “Lord, I donʼt have what it takes,ˮ becomes an unspoken refrain. This internal tension is far more common than we admit.

Imagine attempting to assemble a complex piece of furniture without the proper tools. The frustration builds, progress stalls, and what should have been straightforward becomes exhausting. Life can feel exactly like this when we believe we lack what we need, but unlike human systems that often demand performance without provision, God operates differently. Pharaoh demanded bricks without supplying straw. God, however, never demands without first supplying.
**He never sends a woman into battle without armour.**
**He never calls a woman into purpose without preparation.**
**He never places destiny on shoulders without placing tools in hands.**
YOU ARE NOT EMPTY-HANDED. YOU ARE NOT UNDER-QUALIFIED. YOU ARE NOT BEHIND SCHEDULE. IN CHRIST, YOU ARE PERFECTLY EQUIPPED.
## **POSITIONED WITH PURPOSE**
Where you are right now is not accidental. Whether in your workplace, your home, your relationships, or your current season of waiting, Godʼs placement is deliberate.
Consider Esther in the book of Esther, a young woman elevated to royalty, yet hidden in the palace for months without understanding why. Consider Joseph in the book of Genesis chapters 37; 38- 41; carrying divine dreams while enduring betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment. Their journeys were neither comfortable nor immediate, but they were purposeful.
## **EVERY WOMAN GOD CREATED IS EQUIPPED FOR A REASON.**
You are not an accident of nature. Your presence in this generation is intentional. We see this pattern throughout Scripture. The widow of Zarephath _**(1 Kings 17:7–16)**_ appeared to have almost nothing, yet she carried exactly what God would use for a miracle. The Shunammite woman _**(2 Kings 4:8–37)**_ possessed what was necessary for divine intervention. Their stories reveal a powerful principle: what God places in your hands is never random, it is always sufficient for His purpose for your life and connected to His Kingdom.
## **THE FIRST EQUIPMENT: IDENTITY**
_**Esther 4:14Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?**_
Before God entrusts assignments, He establishes identity. The enemy, by contrast, attacks identity first. His whispers are predictable: You are not enough. You are too broken. Too late. Too insignificant. Eveʼs encounter in Genesis illustrates this strategy. Though created in Godʼs image, she was tempted by the illusion of becoming what she already was. The deception targeted belief, not capacity. Scripture answers these doubts with clarity:
- “You are fearfully and wonderfully made.ˮ

## **INTRODUCTION**
GVM–SOM was commissioned in April 2011 by Dr Ezekiel Alawale as part of the continuing quest to fulfil the divine mandate of Godʼs Vineyard ministries; ‘Empowering Lives and Building Societyʼ. The ultimate objective of the school is to ensure that ‘the man of God is perfected, thoroughly furnished unto every good workʼ. **The school has since graduated over 130 students, who are serving in various capacities in the Kingdom of our Lord.** The school currently boasts of a number of high quality academic staff and a research board.
## **DATE & TIME**
The academic year of the GVM-SOM runs from May to February each year. However, as a result of the modular nature of the course, students can join the programme at any stage within the year and work through the modules.
## **CORE STRUCTURE**
The course structure is a modular system involving the following arrangement:
- The programme can be completed within one or two years
- Class lectures are supplemented by online studies.
- Each module is usually thought in four sessions, on Tuesday nights, 7.00-9.30pm One week breaks between modules, with a longer break from Dec to Jan
- Online facilities are available for distant students for the entire duration of the course.

The only cost students are eligible to pay is £200 to cater for stationery and administrative costs. Payment can be made by instalments. The course is subsidised by Godʼs Vineyard Ministries.

This is a weekly teaching session for new believers that run online and in-person, to help participants understand our identity, abilities, and responsibilities as believers. The main objective of the programme is to disciple believers to become more Christ-like. Participants also use the opportunity to ask questions about their Christian walk. Seventy five people signed up over the last academic session, 15 completed the programme, and began serving in various units and within Radical Youth and the Youth Church.
The training was equally extended to 40 Radical Youth leaders in Nottingham and Loughborough, on zoom over the summer.

For many believers, the marketplace is often viewed as separate from spiritual life, something secular, demanding, and disconnected from faith. Yet the reality is quite the opposite. The marketplace is one of the primary arenas where God has called His children to live out their purpose.
Whether in business, corporate environments, civil service, entrepreneurship, homemaking, or virtual workplaces, the marketplace is where a significant portion of our lives is spent. With official working hours averaging between 37.5 and 40 hours a week or more.
In practice, over a third of our time is invested in this space and God has not left us unequipped for it.
## **UNDERSTANDING THE MARKETPLACE**
The marketplace can be understood in two broad ways:
- A place where goods and services are exchanged
- A workplace where people carry out their daily responsibilities
These places may be physical or virtual, but they share one defining reality: they shape lives, influence culture, and determine livelihoods. As believers, we do not merely pass through the marketplace, we are strategically positioned within it.
## **THE CHILD OF GOD IN THE MARKETPLACE**
First and foremost, we are children of God. Our identity precedes our job titles and Scripture is clear about our mission:

We are Godʼs representatives in the marketplace. We are not called to blend in with what we have been delivered from, nor are we to allow work to consume us to the point, it replaces God. Work must never become our master. Instead, we enter the marketplace to influence, to lead, and to reflect Godʼs character.
## **WE ARE SPIRITUALLY EQUIPPED**
God has equipped His children with everything necessary to thrive in the marketplace.
## **The Word of God**
Scripture is our manual for godly living: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. _**ˮ (2 Timothy 3:16–17, NIV)**_
## **The Power and Guidance of the Holy Spirit**
The Holy Spirit is Godʼs gift to every believer, empowering us to live wisely and purposefully in the marketplace: “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.ˮ _**(John 14:26, NIV)**_ God also promises personal and precise guidance in every decision we face: “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.ʼˮ _**(Isaiah 30:21, NIV)**_ “The LORD says, ‘I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.ʼˮ _**(Psalm 32:8, NLT)**_
## _**The Armour of God**_
The marketplace is not only a place of opportunity; it is also a place of spiritual opposition. God therefore, has provided us with spiritual armour: “Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armour of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.ˮ _**(Ephesians 6:11, AMP)**_
Godʼs precepts counter the worldʼs systems, shortcuts, and strategies that contradict godly values.
## **Prayer, Wisdom, and Discernment**
Prayer gives us direct access to Godʼs throne and insight beyond human understanding: “Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.ˮ _**(Jeremiah 33:3, NLT)**_ Wisdom and discernment are essential for sound decision-making in complex environments: “For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.ˮ _**(Proverbs 2:6, KJV)**_ God has truly equipped us with everything we need: “By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.ˮ

Believers are called to moral, ethical, and professional excellence, doing the right thing even when no one is watching. High standards are non-negotiable: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” _**(Colossians 3:23–24, NIV)**_ “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings.” _**(Proverbs 22:29, KJV)**_
## **B INTEGRITY AND HUMILITY**
Confidentiality, honesty , integrity in the use of resources, humility and faithfulness are vital in every role and at every level: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition… but in humility value others above yourselves.” _**(Philippians 2:3–4, NIV)**_

## SUMMER EVENTS
In August, the annual BBQ event brought members and guests together for a day of fellowship and outdoor activities. Although early forecasts raised concerns of unfavourable weather, the conditions shifted in the churchʼs favour, resulting in a bright and enjoyable day. Participation was high, and the relaxed atmosphere created opportunities for deeper connections across different age groups. The success of the event demonstrated strong community engagement and reinforced the importance of informal gatherings as a means of building unity.
## CAMPUS VISITS
Campus evangelism in September extended the churchʼs outreach efforts to Aston University and the University of Birmingham. The evangelism team engaged students through conversations, prayer, and invitations to church events. Volunteers reported a positive reception, noting that students were open to discussions and expressed interest in future activities. This outreach strengthened the churchʼs visibility on both campuses and provided a foundation for continued engagement with the student community.
## NEW LOCATION
The year concludes with significant preparation for relocating to a new venue in December. This transition marks a major milestone, reflecting both organisational growth and forward planning. The move positions the church for expanded opportunities, improved facilities, and a refreshed environment as it enters 2026. The forthcoming venue underscores the churchʼs commitment to continual development.

**2025 was a glorious and remarkable year for GVC Derby;** with thankful hearts we exalt the LORD for His visitation and wonderful works among the church and its people. The churchʼs focus for the year was that every worship service would be marked by a divine encounter. This was clearly reflected in the rich spiritual atmosphere, where God ministered to the hearts of His people, fostering real transformation and spiritual growth of the church. As part of this vision, _**“Outpouringˮ**_ - a monthly Holy Spirit prayer encounter marked by speaking in tongues was held by the Radical Youth and the Youth Church.
2025 marks three years of GVC Derby holding two services: the morning Family Service and the evening Youth Service. Both services are flourishing spiritually and numerically, producing many testimonies of the goodness of God. More than 90 people visited the church during the year; four accepted Christ, and many others renewed their commitment and devotion to God
Several events and outreach activities were held during the year, including the regular “Church GOˮ evangelism outreach to share the gospel in the community. **Through the evangelism outreaches more than 13 people accepted Christ, and many more impacted- Praise the Lord!**
Noteworthy is the excellent report from the annual Teenagers Summer Camp hosted by Gods Vineyard Ministries in July 2025. GVC Derby Teenage church presented a drama that was highly commended. The camp was attended by six teenagers and four teachers from the church, all of whom were commended for their exemplary conduct.
The annual Family Funday picnic in August at Stockbrook Community Park, Derby drew over 65 people. Families, friends and even passersby took part in the games, sports and plenty of food and drinks. It was a lovely occasion for community interaction and for church members to relax together. To crown the year, the church celebrated its 19th anniversary at the annual Glory Conference (31 October–2 November), themed “Exploitsˮ _**(Daniel 11:32)**_ . The Conference began with a Worship Concert on Friday 31 October, attended by over 62 people. It was an evening of heartfelt worship and praise led by Reverend Ayo Israel, where many received a fresh touch and fire of the Spirit.
On Sunday, 2 November, Senior Pastor Dr Ezekiel Alawale preached at the Thanksgiving Service, stressing that the knowledge of God and strength in the LORD are essential and indispensable for doing exploits. The service concluded with the Senior Pastor invoking priestly blessings upon the church and her members. The church held a Carol Service in December to celebrate the birth of the LORD Jesus. After the service, attendees enjoyed a sumptuous sit-down Christmas meal accompanied by games, gift sharing and other interactive activities. Divine presence has been our experience through the year. All glory, praise and thanks to God for His infinite blessings and life-changing encounters granted through the Holy Spirit.
This is the season of exploits for the church and her people, and we look forward with profound joy and great expectation to the glorious things that the LORD has prepared ahead of His Church.

God's Vineyard Church, Leicester was birthed under the divine vision of God through the dynamic leadership of our senior pastor, Pastor (Dr) Ezekiel Alawale in October 2013. “GVC Leicester” as it’s popularly called is a vibrant and inspirational youth church. A community of sold-out youths who are passionate about their Christian faith and sharing these with their sphere of influence. The church has a vision to build Christian character and values in the lives of the youths by the systematic study and examination of the word.
The church continues to grow through the years and has stabilised its presence within the student communities of Leicester and De Montfort Universities.
Furthermore, bi-weekly men and women fellowship meetings are conducted to provide an atmosphere where generic issues are discussed and resolutions made in light of the word of God. In January, we embarked on a 30 days fasting and prayer sessions as part of the ministry’s annual focus at the beginning of the year. The season presented an opportunity to prayerfully review our programmes, services and mission to the city of Leicester. Also, we were able to re-dedicate our lives to God afresh ahead of the new year. The hunger for more of God has been unprecedented and the atmosphere of every of our services continue to herald the manifestation of the move of God.

With the glory of God, this ministry has added immense value to the lives of the students over the years. Its great impact continues to be seen in the lives of the graduates as they continue to reminisce about what God did in and through their lives while on campus.
As a church we recognise that the days of the academic sojourn of the students are numbered and as such we swing into action as soon as the session starts. Apart from our Sunday services, we organise weekly discipleship meetings on the back of our evangelism and follow up efforts, bible study, prayer and counselling meetings. We tailor every of these sessions to mentoring them to live a victorious Christian life in the midst of all the vices and distraction on campus.
In February, we had a mental health seminar tagged **“How are you REALLY”** organised by the Radical Youths. This event shed light on the mental health awareness, struggles with shame on Campus and how to manage to thrive mentally in a very stressful, pressured and fast paced society.
Another major highlight of every year is the graduation of the final year students within us. This year, we were privileged to celebrate with 12 students and their families as we wished them the very best of God for the future. We also sent forth one of our members leaving us for another ministry. These occasions are fondly remembered to be full of joy, appreciation and testimonies.
In October, we welcomed the new students who recently just got admitted to the university. We held different fora to invite them to church, and we believed many of them were blessed and encouraged with the atmosphere of our meetings as the majority of them have since settled in the church.
The last major programme of the year was our Christmas carol service. It was a graceful and wonderful time in His presence as we reminded ourselves the real reason for the season even amidst all the delightfulness of fun and feasting We glorify God that our students have gone on to stand as a beacon of light in the work and market place and their exploits for Him continues to delight and encourage us. Some have even gone into ministry of the service of God and their contentment with His call continues to be a testimony.
The church is forever grateful to the faithfulness of God all through the years as we continue to seek His purpose and will for our lives. We would conclude that if you live or you are on an academic sojourn to Leicester, or maybe you have a son, daughter or siblings coming to Leicester, we encourage you (or ask them) to join us as we are a church on a journey with God and He is taking us far!

## God’s Vineyard Church, London
The year 2025 has proven to be a momentous and productive period for GVC London. It has marked a time of spiritual advancement, obedience, and the exploration of new ministry areas as a church community. We express our gratitude to God for His unwavering faithfulness and the ways He has fortified both individuals and the church as a whole.
## **Spiritual growth and discipleship**
A significant highlight of the year was our inaugural ‘Iron Sharpens Iron’ event. This gathering of fellowship enabled leaders and members to unite in a profound exploration of the Word of God, emphasising practical application in everyday life. The event fostered accountability, spiritual enhancement, and unity within our congregation.
Throughout the year, we observed a marked increase in both prayer and engagement with Scripture. Our leaders developed greater confidence in prayer, and there was a heightened desire for the Word, evident in discussions, teachings, and mid-week gatherings.
This growth was further influenced by the introduction of the monthly anointing service led by Pastor Labi. Conducted on the first Sunday of each month, every leader and member received an anointing with oil and prayer. These services have evolved into powerful occasions for spiritual rejuvenation and a deeper connection with God, reinforcing our faith.
## **Teaching and worship**
Our Weekly Sunday School at GVC London has consistently provided structured instruction and depth to the monthly themes. Moreover, praise and worship remain a fundamental aspect of our meetings, as they cultivate an environment where we can invite God's presence, encounter Him, and enhance our spiritual sensitivity.
## **Leadership development**
Throughout 2025, church leaders have been purposefully challenged and encouraged by our pastors, Branch Pastor Labi and Pastor Alfredo. Consequently, there is a noticeable growth in spiritual maturity, responsibility, and confidence in service.
Our leaders have embraced their roles with renewed dedication. Additionally, two of our leaders were kind enough to share their Sunday messages with us, which greatly contributed to the spiritual growth of GVC London and illustrated progress in leadership, talents, and confidence in the Word.
## **Outreach and Evangelism**
A significant milestone for GVC London this year was our first foray into evangelism as a community. This bold and faith-affirming experience marked a vital step in fulfilling the Great Commission and sharing Christ's love with others. It provided us with the opportunity to reflect on and exchange our experiences with one another. This is an endeavour we intend to build upon in 2026.
## **Community and Celebrations**
Throughout the year, GVC London celebrated important personal milestones collectively. We joyfully recognised members' birthdays and anniversaries, thereby enhancing our fellowship and family connections.
Moreover, 2025 was a particularly memorable year as we attended GVC London's first wedding, celebrating love, commitment, and unity within the church.

We concluded the year 2025 with a joyful and impactful Christmas season, filled with gratitude and appreciation. As a church, we hosted a delightful Christmas games event and potluck, creating a meaningful time of fellowship and laughter while sharing delicious food. This was followed by our Christmas Carol Service on Sunday, a powerful occasion for worship, celebration, and reflection on the birth of Christ.
## Looking _Ahead_ to 2026
As we look forward to 2026, GVC London is set to move ahead with faith, anticipation, and vision, entering our year of Divine Advancement.
Building on the foundations laid in 2025, we aim to deepen our prayer life, strengthen discipleship and leadership, and expand our outreach efforts. We are also thankful for the work accomplished this year in enhancing our church space, creating a more welcoming environment for worship and fellowship. ## **ANNIVERSARY DINNER AND RECOGNITION NIGHT**
Saturday, the 10th was a Black-Tie Dinner event to celebrate the commitments of members and leaders. GVC Loughborough runs two main services on Sundays – morning Family Church and evening Youth Church services.
The outgoing leadership team of the Radical Youth in Loughborough, who also served in leading the Youth Church, were appreciated with token gifts. The leaders and workers of the Family Church were also acknowledged and appreciated on that occasion for their unfailing commitment.
On the night, Pastor Joe Nipah, the Head Pastor reflected on the journey of the church so far, the battles and challenges we had gone through, the lives that have been impacted by the church, and how the Lord has proved Himself faithful through these journeys. He further reminded the church of the vision the Lord has given us and His assurance to us that if we would believe Him, we shall be extremely fruitful in the land where He has planted us.

## **INTERNATIONAL SUNDAY**
The anniversary was crowned on Sunday evening with a joint celebratory service of the Family and Youth Churches. The service was also a colourful International Day celebration, where our different cultures were showcased to demonstrate our unity in diversity.
In his message, Dr Ezekiel Alawale, the Senior Pastor, shared his testimony of how he yielded to the Lord’s calling, his journey, struggles and challenges along the way, and God’s protection and providence that have resulted in the fruitfulness we are all experiencing in God’s Vineyard Ministries today

An important part of GVC Loughborough’s anniversary celebrations was the baptism of 5 members, who had made the decision to consolidate their commitment to Christ with a public declaration of their faith. It was pure joy to witness such beautiful moments. GVC Loughborough is now in a fresh season of growth and fruitfulness.

## **INTRODUCTION**
GVC Manchester was launched on the 21st of September 2025 as a new addition to the global network of GVC churches. We are grateful for the support of this community and the leadership of our senior pastor Dr. Ezekiel Alawale. In the weeks following the launch, we welcomed new members, many of whom came from the surrounding regions, including Preston and Lancaster.
All glory belongs to God, through his faithfulness, we have been able to establish a church that fosters fellowship, spiritual growth, and outreach in the heart of the northwest of England. This report highlights the church’s growth, events, and activities in the past quarter of the year alongside the positive impact we have seen in the surrounding regions of Preston and Lancaster.
## **VISION**
Our vision is to see a spiritually strong, united, and impactful Christian community across the northwest. We aim to gather and connect radical youth **(RY)** communities from across the region to build authentic fellowship, strengthen regional identity, and foster unity in faith. By providing holistic spiritual, emotional, and communal support, we seek to create an environment where believers grow together, serve together, and stand together, ultimately forming a connected, vibrant body of Christ that advances god’s kingdom through love, service, and shared purpose

The mission of GVCManchester is to faithfully spread the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ in obedience to the great commission. We are committed to empowering our members through the word of God, ensuring they are spiritually nourished and equipped on a daily basis.

## **SUNDAY CELEBRATION**
Since our launch, we have held regular Sunday services, attracting attendees not only from Manchester but also from the Preston and Lancaster regions. These services have provided an opportunity for individuals to come together in worship, share in the Word of God, and build meaningful connections within the church family. We have seen consistent attendance, with many individuals making the journey each week to experience the fellowship that GVC Manchester offers.
## **MID-WEEK PRAYER SEVICE**
The midweek prayers were held consistently every Thursday evening throughout the year, with each session lasting 30 minutes. These gatherings encouraged members to come together weekly in prayer. Through this dedicated time God members commented on how this strengthened their faith and deepened their spiritual lives

## **INTRODUCTION**
The year 2025 was a testament to God's faithfulness and promise-keeping nature. As we reflected on our theme, "My Year of Fruitfulness," we were reminded of God's intention to elevate His people and move us to greater heights of influence. Our mandate for 2025 was to enter our Rehoboth, individually and collectively, and perform great exploits for the Kingdom as a church.
## **CHURCH ACTIVITIES AND ATTENDANCE**
Our church activities resumed in February 2025, following our annual fasting and prayer program in January. We held Sunday services at Papal Ground, midweek studies in various locations, and online Friday Bible studies. We also introduced online midweek general prayers via our WhatsApp platform.
## **ATTENDANCE OVERVIEW**
We started the year with commendable attendance, but faced challenges at some point due to spiritual and economic factors, including a storm that damaged our building for the second time.
We held several significant programs in 2025. The major ones include:
- **Easter Resurrection Gathering:** Our Resurrection Gathering took place from April 19-20, 2025, with the theme "The Riches of His Grace" _**(Ephesians 1:7)**_ . Pastor Noel Ezefosie and other ministers spoke on various aspects of grace, including Saving, Standing, Sharing, and Sanctifying Grace respectively. The daylong retreat on Saturday, April 19, attracted 88 people, including children. On Sunday, we celebrated Resurrection with a holy communion service with 101 people in attendance, including adults and children.
- **Pastoral Visit:** In August, we received a visit from our Senior Pastor, Dr. Ezekiel Alawale, on August 30-31, 2025. He taught a leadership session on _**"EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP: A CATALYST FOR CHURCH GROWTH AND FRUITFULNESS"**_ 19 leaders attended on Saturday, Senior pastor emphasized on the importance of effective leadership in driving church growth. On Sunday, August 31, he ministered at our Sunday service, speaking on "MY SEASON OF FRUITFULNESS". The service saw 133 attendees, including 10 visitors, and was marked by powerful testimonies and prayers.

## **OUR END-OF-YEAR PROGRAMS**
Annual Revival Sunday Service: Revival Sunday held on November 30, 2025, with the theme "Crown My Year with Your Goodness, Oh Lord!" (Psalm 65:11).
Pastor Noel Ezefosie spoke words of total restoration and healing, and 87 members attended, including adults and children with outstanding testimonies.
- **Annual Thanksgiving:** We also scheduled our 2025 Thanksgiving Service for December 14, 2025, with the theme "IT IS GOOD TO GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD" (Psalm 92:1), to express our gratitude for God's goodness throughout the year.
## **TESTIMONIES**
## **WATER BAPTISM AND DISCIPLESHIP GRADUATION**
On Good Friday, 14 people were baptized by immersion after completing GVM Discipleship classes. On Sunday during the resurrection celebration service, we graduated 39 members who had successfully completed GVM discipleship classes to the glory of God.
## **WEDDINGS**
We also recorded one wedding in September between Precious and Eunice Onwukwe.
## **IT & MULTIMEDIA DEPARTMENT**
Our IT Department has achieved significant milestones, conducting three major training sessions in Graphics Design, Video Editing, and Website design. Members
who completed the training received certificates and are now contributing to the church by handling design and printing of church materials and multimedia services
- **Lightening of the Ground - A significant achievement:** We are grateful to God for enabling us to install four poles with street lights and solar panels at our portion in Papal Ground, enhancing the security and visibility of the area at night. This initiative will undoubtedly contribute to a safer environment for our members and visitors. We thank God, for His provision and guidance!
**In conclusion,** despite challenges, 2025 was a year of fruitfulness and progress for God's Vineyard Christian Centre, Abuja. We continue to stand firm, gaining new heights for the Kingdom, and look forward to greater exploits in the coming year, particularly in youth work.

From the rising of the sun to its setting, His mercies have never failed us. We have seen His hand in provision, protection, expansion, and transformation of lives. Truly, the Lord has been our shield, our song, and our exceeding great reward as a church.
This year, we have witnessed a beautiful influx of new members into God’s Vineyard Christian Centre, Lagos. Many have found a spiritual home here, and their lives have been transformed through the Word, fellowship, and the power of God; while some members have relocated due to career, family, or other reasons. Yet, their testimonies remain deeply tied to this church. For many, their life stories cannot be told without mentioning the impact of God’s Vineyard Christian Centre, Lagos.
## **BABY DEDICATIONS**
To the glory of God, we dedicated two newborn babies and about three children who are of age this year. These moments were not just ceremonies but prophetic declarations of destinies being secured in Christ in GVCC, Lagos. We rejoice with the families and celebrate the covenant-keeping God who continues to multiply us.
## **AUGUST 24TH SPECIAL SERVICE – SENIOR PASTOR’S VISIT**
On August 24th, 2025, our Senior Pastor, Dr. Ezekiel Alawale, visited us, and it was a divine blast to the glory of God. This day will remain unforgettable in the history of God’s Vineyard Christian Centre, Lagos. It was a memorable success as the Senior Pastor’s presence strengthened the congregation’s faith, fostered renewed dedication, and reinforced the vision of the church including the theme of the year “Fruitfulness”. Guests’ music ministers were invited and there were about 100 people in attendance. About 13 people surrendered their lives to Jesus. The visit was not just an event; it was a spiritual landmark. Many testified of renewed strength, fresh vision, and divine encounters. Truly, it was a day of revival and refreshing.
## **PROPERTY ACQUISITION FOR LEASE**
After four fruitful years at Ojodu Berger, the Lord has opened a new chapter for us. To the glory of God, a new property has been secured on a 10-year lease. We appreciate our headquarters and every supporter who made this possible. While much refurbishing and restructuring are still needed to make the place habitable for worship, we are confident that God who began this good work will perfect it.
## **RADICAL YOUTHS: PORTALS OF PRAISE CONCERT**
GVCC Lagos comprises mostly youths, and on November 30 there will be a gathering of God’s people, with our Senior Pastor ministering live. The major idea behind this meeting is to bring back our youths who had left for studies a long time ago and are back in town, but have no idea the new location of the church due to lost contacts and the like. We are bringing them together again based on invitation and we shall have an open meeting with them and hopefully, we shall have them back.
The meeting is also to gather youths together for impact. We pray it shall be glorious. Amen.

As we close the year 2025, we stand in awe of God’s faithfulness. His intense love has carried us, His mighty hand has sustained us, and His Spirit has empowered us. We march into the future with confidence, knowing that the God who has been faithful will yet do greater things.

- **4th Sunday - Teaching / Doctrine Service:** Focused on sound doctrine, maturity, and spiritual stability. If a month has five Sundays, the 5th Sunday becomes Thanksgiving, while the 4th remains teaching.
- **1st Sundays - Communion Service:** Covenant service to engage the power of the Lord’s Table for renewal, alignment, and strength.
- **2nd Sundays - Prevailing Service:** A prayer-intensive service. A praying church stays in God’s will and keeps the altar on fire.
**Note: As we grow, weekly midweek service & one monthly night vigil.**
- **3rd Sundays - Church & Community Service:** Taking church to schools, villages, streets, orphanages, prisons, and public spaces for worship, service, and evangelism.

VINE HERITAGE
## **INTRODUCTION**
The Children’s Department/ ministry popularly referred to as vine heritage remains committed to nurturing children spiritually, emotionally, socially, and creatively in line with biblical principles. Throughout 2025, several impactful programmes were organised to foster spiritual growth, discover talents, encourage creativity, and promote fellowship among children.
These programmes also provided opportunities for children to actively participate in worship, express themselves confidently, and build godly relationships in a supportive Christian environment.
This report presents a detailed account of the major programmes organised by the Children’s Department in 2025, highlighting their objectives, activities, and overall impact.
## **OVERVIEW**
The Children’s May Conference was designed as a holistic programme combining outdoor engagement with spiritual enrichment. The conference aimed to encourage fellowship, teamwork, spiritual awareness, and confidence in expressing faith among the children.
**Day 1 – Outdoor Activities (18/05/2025) :** The first day of the conference was held at West Bridgford Park and focused on physical, social, and recreational development. The outdoor setting created a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, allowing the children to bond freely.
**Activities Included:** Team games and group challenges, recreational sports and physical exercises, Fun races and interactive play sessions, Group bonding activities encouraging cooperation and teamwork. These activities helped improve social interaction, physical fitness, and unity among the children. It also allowed leaders to observe teamwork, leadership potential, and interpersonal skills in a natural environment.
**Day 2 – Sunday Conference Activities (19/05/2025):** The second day focused on spiritual development and active participation in worship during Sunday services.
**Activities Included:** Bible Recitation: Children confidently recited selected Bible verses, demonstrating memorisation skills and understanding of Scripture. Drama Presentation: A short drama was presented to communicate biblical lessons in a relatable and engaging manner. Ministration in Songs: The children ministered through songs, leading the congregation in worship and praise. Preaching/Exhortation: Selected children delivered short exhortations, showcasing their boldness, spiritual growth, and understanding of God’s word.
**Impact:** Enhanced children’s confidence in public speaking and worship participation Encouraged early spiritual leadership and boldness Strengthened biblical knowledge and moral values. Fostered unity and a sense of belonging within the Children’s Department.
## **CREATIVE ACTIVITY, TALENT SHOW AND MOVIE NIGHT**
The Creative Activity, Talent Show, and Movie Night were organised to discover, nurture, and celebrate the diverse talents among the children while providing a fun and spiritually safe environment for expression and relaxation. Activities Include; Talent Show, Children were allowed to showcase their God-given abilities in various forms, including: Singing performances, Dancing presentations, Flipping and acrobatic displays, Other creative performances. This segment encouraged self-expression, confidence, and appreciation of individual uniqueness.

## **ARTWORK DISPLAY**
Children displayed various creative artworks, allowing them to express their imagination visually. This activity helped promote creativity, patience, and attention to detail.
## **MOVIE NIGHT**
## **CHRISTMAS CAROLS, DRAMA PRESENTATION, SOLO AND CHOREOGRAPHY**
A carefully selected childrenfriendly and value-based movie was shown (I Believe). The movie reinforced moral lessons, including kindness, faith, obedience, and love for others. Its Impact: it helps boost selfesteem and confidence among the children. Encouraged creativity and appreciation of talents. Provided a relaxed environment for bonding and fellowship. Reinforced moral and biblical values through visual storytelling.
The Christmas Carol Service marked the climax of the Childrenʼs Department activities for the year 2025. The programme was centred on celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and reminding the congregation of the true meaning of Christmas. It was held on the 14th December 2025 in the Church Auditorium. There were an array of activities lined up for the evening, which included
**Christmas Carols:** The children sang traditional and contemporary Christmas carols, ministering joyfully to the congregation.
**Drama Presentation:** A Christmasthemed drama depicting the birth of Jesus Christ and its significance was presented.
**Solo Performances:** Selected children rendered solo songs, showcasing vocal development and confidence.
**Choreography:** Group dance and choreographed performances were presented, adding colour, coordination, and excitement to the celebration. Its impact, it helped to deepen childrenʼs understanding of the Christmas message, Encouraged teamwork, discipline, and coordination Enhanced confidence in stage performance, Created a joyful and memorable worship experience for the congregation.
## **CONCLUSION**
The Childrenʼs Department programmes in 2025 were impactful and purposeful, addressing spiritual growth, talent discovery, creativity, and fellowship. Through the May Conference, Creative Talent Show, and Christmas Carol Service, children were equipped spiritually, encouraged socially, and empowered creatively.
These activities not only strengthened the childrenʼs relationship with God but also helped build confidence, leadership skills, and a strong sense of Christian identity. The department remains committed to raising spiritually grounded, confident, and purpose-driven children in the coming years.

## ABOUT THE HOLIDAY CLUB
In August 2025, Godʼs Vineyard Ministries in Nottingham hosted its second holiday club, welcoming forty-eight local children to an unforgettable Christian experience.
The three-day event, tailored for children aged 4 to 11, was a vibrant and enriching experience held daily from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. It was packed with activities like crafts, Bible study, games, singing, dancing, bounce sessions, and delicious treats, offering the perfect mix of fun, inspiration, and spiritual growth.
Titled **“Team Builders,ˮ** the event centered around three Bible stories designed to teach children the value of teamwork in life, as well as what it means to be part of Jesusʼ team.
The holiday club was intentionally held during the summer holidays to provide children with a meaningful and engaging way to spend their break while fostering their faith. This impactful experience was made possible by the dedication of vetted volunteers from Godʼs Vineyard Ministries, who created a safe and nurturing environment for the children to explore Godʼs love and the profound difference He can make in their lives.
Through the stories of Joseph and his brothers (Genesis 37), Moses and the elders (Exodus 18), and Jesus and His disciples (Luke 6:12-17), the children learned how collaboration leads to greater achievements and how God has uniquely gifted each child with talents that complement one another, making it easier for them to work together in harmony.

Overall, the teens appreciate the chance to grow spiritually, make new connections, and learn more about Christ. ## **LIVING THE WORD, LIVING BY EXAMPLE**
adical Youth Fellowship (RY) embodies a vibrant movement within Godʼs Vineyard Ministries, uniting young Rpeople across campuses in the UK in their shared mission to live out Godʼs Word and lead by example. Anchored in faith, fellowship, and impactful events, RY serves as a spiritual home for university students and young adults, fostering personal growth and community transformation.
## BUILDING LEADERS FOR TOMORROW
Leadership development is at the heart of RYʼs mission. The **Youth Ministry Leadership Training** in June 2025 brought together 75 leaders from 10 regions, both in person and online. The sessions, led by esteemed pastors, covered practical and spiritual topics such as Bible study, ministry effectiveness, and overcoming stress. Feedback highlighted the eventʼs success in equipping leaders for their roles, with plans underway for follow-up sessions to ensure continuous growth.
## RY WEEK AND BEYOND
The annual **RY Week (June 3-8, 2025** ) celebrated the end of the academic year with a dynamic mix of fellowship, worship, and celebration. Highlights included:
- **Final Yearsʼ Dinner:** A time of reflection and prayer for graduates entering new seasons.
- **RY Praise Night:** Featuring heartfelt performances and the beloved Mass Choir.
- **Sports Day and BBQ:** A fun-filled day fostering unity and fellowship.
- **RY Ball and Awards Night:** With over 200 attendees, the event recognized regional and individual contributions, celebrating Lancaster and Loughborough as Region of the Year.
RY Week concluded with the **Youth Church Takeover** , a powerful service honoring outgoing leaders and commissioning new ones for the academic year ahead.

## ACADEMIC SESSION
The academic year 2024/25 marked the beginning of the third decade of the Radical Youth Campus fellowship globally. We give thanks to God for the progress made and for the many lives the fellowship has impacted.
The theme for the year was **“Who Am I?ˮ** . The academic year began with over 100 RY leaders gathering in Nottingham for the second phase of the RY Leaders Training in September 2024. The first phase had taken place in June, when new leaders were elected.
The freshersʼ fairs across all RY regions proved very fruitful. More than a thousand students registered for the fellowships, to the glory of God.
One of the major highlights of the year was the Radical Youth Conference, titled Let Your Life Count Conference, with the theme “Who Am I?.ˮ The conference was held at the newly acquired church auditorium, which had been obtained earlier in the year. This was the first time in over ten years that the RY Conference took place at the church premises, due to previous space constraints.
The program ran from Friday, 15 November, through a musical concert on Saturday, 16 November, and concluded on Sunday, 17 November 2024. It was a remarkable weekend, as we were able to bring together RY members from across the UK, along with several alumni.
The conference featured the Academic Excellence Seminar, the Relationship Seminar, and a message on identity crisis delivered by the Youth Pastor, along with various sessions from different RY regions.
## Distinguished speakers included:
- RY Alumnus Dr Michael Odumala (former RY Lancaster President and medical doctor) Minister Blessing Oyedemi (senior lecturer at a prestigious London university) Pastor Funmi Alawale, who led the Saturday morning seminar
The main speakers for the weekend were Pastor Dr Ezekiel Alawale (Senior Pastor of GVM and founder of Radical Youth) and Pastor Labi (GVCRY Youth Pastor).
Guest artists included worshipper Areatha Anderson from London and the TwinSax music ministers. Our Senior Pastor also delivered a brief exhortation and altar call. It was truly a blessed occasion. All conference messages are available for free viewing on the Godʼs Vineyard Church YouTube channel.

The Weekend Away aims to retreat to a serene location, allowing time for fellowship and to seek Godʼs presence to rejuvenate ourselves. Over 350 young individuals attended the Weekend Away, including 45 alumni and 15 sponsored non-believers. God truly manifested His presence during the retreat. Many participants encountered the Holy Spirit, and we are already filled with anticipation for Weekend Away 2026. Topics such as **“Sent One,ˮ “Man of Valour,ˮ “Women of Virtue,ˮ “Heart Posture,ˮ “Unforgiveness,ˮ** and Holy Spirit ministrations were all taught in an inspiring manner. The testimonies that emerged from the weekend were remarkable and deeply encouraging. Everyone was blessed!
The academic year 2024/25 was indeed a significant blessing for us in RY. Regions such as RY Aston, RY Leicester, RY Loughborough, RY Trentside, and RY Nottingham hosted various events, including Open Mic Night, Variety Night, Cookout, Encounter, Worship Experience, Movie Night, Bowling, and many others.
The year concluded with the RY End-of-Year Ball and Awards Night. All leaders were acknowledged and appreciated with a certificate of appreciation. It was an evening filled with fun, laughter, and praise, with our Daddy and Mummy(Pastor & Pastor (Mrs) Alawale), Pastor Joe (GVC Loughborough Church Pastor), Pastor Akinola Akinyede (GVC Derby Pastor), and Pastor Muyiwa Dada (GVC Leicester Pastor) all present.
In conclusion, I wish to express my gratitude to God for guiding us through a prosperous 2024/25. I am also thankful for the tremendous support from Pastor and Pastor (Mrs) Ezekiel Alawale, the staff of Godʼs Vineyard Ministries, and all the pastors and ministers associated with the ministry. A special acknowledgement is extended to all members of the RY planning committee, the leaders of RY in every university, and our 2025 RY graduates. I appreciate all your diligent efforts. I pray that God will continually provide you with assistance and support in Jesusʼ name.

## **Joy - 2nd Year** Trentside
I joined RY in October 2024, which has just been a blessing, especially the family RY Trentside. It’s somewhere that I have been grateful to call home over the past year. The people you meet, the friends you make, the accountability you have are somethings that I have looked for when wanting to be in a fellowship. Trentside has been a support system in so many ways, the times where I felt like giving up, not belonging, or not being valued. Trentside created an
atmosphere of peace, unity and love. TS Mondays have shown me a new meaning of intimacy with the Father, which just amazes me. I'm grateful that I have had the opportunity to find God for myself. Without Him, I was broken, but with him I was able to be healed which is something that I thought would never happen. RY is truly a Family

It’s now been a year since joining RY in November 2024. Looking back, I hardly recognise the person I was before. I came in burdened by hidden struggles and cycles I couldn’t break on my own, but through the support of the execs and the community, everything changed. RY didn’t just give me a place to attend, it gave me a place to belong. Since encountering Christ here, I can confidently say that I have been saved. The old version of me no longer exists; God has formed something new, and I have devoted my life to Him.
Every time I walk through the doors, I feel seen and cared for. This community has not only supported my growth, but has shown me what the love of Christ truly looks like. Everything I am becoming is evidence of what God is doing here, and I’m grateful He led me here.

My name is Favour and I’m in my fourth year of university. I first heard about Radical Youth in my first year of university from a trusted friend. Her enthusiasm sparked my curiosity and I attended a few game/movie nights. From my second year onwards I attended more frequently, and I am very grateful that I did. Radical Youth has consistently provided a very warm and welcoming environment, fostering a great sense of belonging, with fun games and activities, all while encouraging me to learn more and participate in discussions around strengthening my faith and connection to God, and embracing the joys and goodness of living as a Christian. Radical Youth is a wonderful community that inspires and supports both personal and spiritual growth, and I am thankful every day for the opportunity to be a part of it.

## GOD’S VINEYARD CHURCH YOUTH CHURCH
The GVM Youth Church is an active extension of the Ministry’s vision, as the youth are at the heart of this vision, and so we as the youth church leadership with God’s grace upon us with the guidance of the senior pastoral leadership, do as much as we can to ensure that we are guiding our youth to develop a deeper relationship with God. We are also ensuring that we, as much as we can, facilitate an environment that breeds healthy relationships between the ministry and its members to ensure we are meeting the needs of our young people, not only spiritually, but physically, emotionally and mentally. Lastly, we are making sure that we help to postively affect our society through the Gospel and create a positive impact in our communities.
**We attempt to achieve the above in many different ways, here are some of the amazing things that the Youth Church is currently doing:**
## FOUNDATION SCHOOL
The aim of the foundation school lies within the title, it is to help provide young people and new believers in the ministry build a solid foundation for an empowered life in Christ. It also allows learning through healthy discussion where young people are free to ask questions.
## **Sessions take place twice a week (Tuesdays & Thursday, 4-6pm) and focus on key teachings such as;**
- What is the central theme of the bible?
- What is Godʼs purpose in salvation?
- How does God achieve His purpose for us in salvation?
- Prayer, fasting & giving

## PRAYER
At GVM prayer is a key foundation of all we do and the Youth Church has a very active programme dedicated soley to prayer. Not only encouraging members to pray, but to also builds an appetite for consistent prayer life. The youth church prayer programmes include;
- **Morning prayer:** Daily 1hour group zoom prayer session, Mondays to Fridays at 6am **Refuel:** Daily 15 minutes group zoom prayer session, Monday to Fridays at 9pm **Atmosphere:** 3hours of prayer, worship, and Bible study, taking place every saturday from 7-10pm
- **Prayer Stretch:** 12hours of continuous prayer, worship and exhortations take place termly.
## WEEKLY BIBLE PLAN
The youth church has an YouVersion Bible App account (GVM youth church) where we select a different bible plan devotional each week in line with the ministryʼs theme of the month, which encourages our members to dive into the word and complete the plan with other fellow members of the ministry. The app has functions that allows members to connect, discuss and share their daily thoughts on each plan and see otherʼs progress.

## YOUNG ADULTS COMMUNITY
The young adult (YA) community brings together 21-35 year olds in Nottingham in fellowship. the age range of 18-35 is generally considered to be young adulthood. People in this age group are often pursuing higher education, starting careers, and forming families. YA provides a platform where young adults can have meaningful conversations, forge new friendships and network , while deepening their relationship with Christ. They meet up bi-weekly and also connect on a WhatsApp community platform. The group hosted its first black tie gala night and it was well a hige success.

## GVM REPORT ON COMMUNITY ENGANGEMENTS
## **HOMELESS OUTREACH**
The GVM Youth Church, fundraised and donated money and items to create bags full of essential items to hand out to the homeless in Nottingham in December 2025. Essentials included: sandwiches, water bottles, cereal bars, toothbrush, toothpaste, tissues, sanitary pads, winter gloves, hand sanitizers and bible scriptures. The bags were packed in church by over 25 GVM leaders and workers and then taken out into Nottingham city centre and local surrounding areas. This is something that the Youth church plans to do regularly in future.
## **CHURCH OF ENGLAND SCHOOL GOVERNORS**
As part of the Church of England’s (COE) plans to increase the diversity of its school Governors, the COE Education Unit has come into agreement with the Majority Black Led Churches, under the leadership of its chair, Dr E Alawale and coordinated by Pastor Joe Nipah, to train and admit governors of black heritage in their academies. As part of the process, nine governors from GVM have now been processed (Cohort-1) and have begun their training. In addition, ten more potential governors from GVM are being processed to commence their training soon (Cohort-2).

The trainings of the nine governors have so far involved the following:
**Governors Like Us:** An In-School Experience **Venue:** Bluecoat Aspley Academy **Date:** Friday 11th July **Time:** 10am– 3.15pm
The event was intended for the new governors to meet staff, governors and students from the Multi-Academy Trusts.
There were plenty of opportunities to ask questions, to network and to learn more about how governors can transform the lives of the students.
In attendance were CEOs from five academies representing over 70 schools that could potentially benefit from the scheme, COE Educational Unit officials, the Chair and Coordinator of the MBLC, officials from the schools and selected black students from the school who enriched the occasion with performances, presentations, shared experiences and Q & A.
## **GOVERNORS INDUCTION TRAINING**
On Friday 26th September 2025, the Nine from Cohort-1 were taken through a twoHour Training session in GVC, led by COE officials, with the Chair and Coordinator of the MBC in attendance.
## **Comprehensive 6-Session Training Schedule:**
A comprehensive 6-part training sessions have now been finalised to commence from 12th November 2025 to get them in readiness to start their roles.
## **FUNDING**
A grant application submitted by the COE Education Unit to support some costs of the new governors has been successful. It’s been agreed to use the funds to provide laptops and to support travel and other costs of the governors.
## **VINEFRUITS CIC**
After years of inactivity, the VineFruits CIC Directors applied to remove the dormant company from the Companies House Register. This was done following consultations with church leadership and members of the BOT who have expertise in the field.
The final application to strike off the company was subsequently submitted on 10th July 2025 by the four remaining directors, Joseph Nipah, Akinola Akinyede, Babs Olufeko and Simeon Olowoyo.
## **OTHER ONGOING INITIATIVES**
The GVC Friendship team, under the leadership of Brother Benson Uwhumiakpo and the team, is still providing support for the residents of the HIA-purchased property.
Hope into Action Nottingham currently have 13 houses with the capacity for over 40 tenants, including single men, families and refugees. We are in the process refurbishing a new house which will house women coming out of prison. We have 7 church partners, who have committed to provide friendship and support to our tenants.

## **THE MBLC & POLICE**
**Custody Pastoral Support:** This is now an ongoing project. Within the reporting period, brochures have been designed to hand over to detainees to signpost them to agencies and organisations that could help steer them from the paths of crime.
The initiative is now generating interest nationwide, with other Police Forces considering introducing similar schemes. (See previous report for further details.

## **THE NOTTINGHAM CITIZENS**
The Nottingham Citizens has undergone restructuring to merge Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire Citizens under a single organizer. The leadership of the church has scheduled a meeting soon with the current Citizens leadership to reconsider GVM’s continued involvement in the organisation.
## **OTHER COMMUNITY INITIATIVES**
The Chair of the MBLC, Dr Ezekiel Alawale has since the last report continued to be involved in serving on various boards, including;
- National Fire & Rescue Services Community Advisory Group
- Regional Access and Partnership Group of Universities in the East Midlands
- Faith Advisor at the Nottingham Trent University
