ANNUAL RETURN: THE BESOM IN BARNET 01/01/24 - 31/12/24
Besom in Barnet was dormant during the year 2024.
The Trustees met during the year to pray and consider ways to restart activities, the form which this should take and who should be involved. There was also a presentation held at St Barnabas, the result of which is that new volunteers and Trustees have been found.
The finances during the course of 2024 were not complex.
The van which had been little used was sold.
Receipts for repairs and costs to make and keep the van roadworthy were submitted and paid.
The regular annual liability insurance was paid. Besom in Barnet remains an “emerging Besom” in relation to the amount of the premium due.
On the 19[th] of December 2024, the existing Trustees met to agree to add three new Trustees:
Andrew Selvaraj, Victoria Ibidun Ogunniyi and Dara Owoyemi have become Trustees of Besom in Barnet.
It was also agreed that George Ellinas and Christoph Weaver will formally step down as Trustees on 30[th] April 2025.
We look forward to exciting times ahead with a new set of Trustees and a vision for taking Besom in Barnet forward.
