Annual Report
The Charity experienced low but stable donations throughout the year.
Initial discussions are in progress to facilitate the funding of a proposal to support research at the Centre for Cancer Biomarkers and Biotherapeutics, Barts Cancer Institute, a Cancer Research UK Centre of Excellence. This research is focussed at the optimisation of arginine deprivation as a novel cancer therapy.
It is anticipated that funding will be provided in instalments through Queen Mary University of London, who manage research funds on behalf of Professor Peter Szlosarek, Consultant Medical Oncologist MBBS, BSc, FRCP, PhD, leader of the research laboratory project.
